True. Consistency is the only key which I've realised. I've lost only 5 kgs in 5-6 months, from 67 to have come down to 62 now. As per my height, I'm 5"4, I should not be more than 59 as per BMI. But I didn't go for any rigorous diet, just gave up on junk and processed food completely, had carbs but raagi mix roti or boiled rice, protein is important and did HIIT, yoga or walk. What I felt is that do what you like, play some sports, keep on changing your physical activity but be consistent. And have dinner max by 7:30, that's the key!

No trainer says "Mou pe tala lagao at the gym and at home for food" trainers usually bullshit you and talk to you for 30mins of the session so they can keep a friendly feeling so you keep coming back. so major respect for ur trainer for ACTUALLY training.

I used to be 56 kgs with height 5'6 but coz of being in a messy relationship which lead to depression, I kept on gaining weight. Whenever I tried to workout (running, gyming, aerobics, Dance) I used to get this horrible one sided pain. It's been 2 years since the pain started. Got every test done but nothing showed up. Now this year..my condition worsened. I weigh 84 kgs. Even though am not into junk food at all. Reason - My pain. Which starts every time I do any sort of workout and then am bedridden for days. Even if I tried yoga, the pain started. Now finally, I got a full MRi done and got diagnosed with Multiple level spinal disc Degeneration. My doc asked me NOT to dance, jump, go for long walks or lift. And said reduce weight. I was tenses as without doing any of these, how would I even lose weight? He then said 75 per cent diet control and rest yoga. I'm getting married next month and it makes me cry thinking that coz of my condition I won't be able to lose a good amount of weight in just one month without doing any running or dancing. Even in yoga I can't practice only those pose that don't strain my spine. Although my fiance is very very supportive and loves me the way I am...but this is not the weight in which I wanted to get married. 😢

The most important thing to reduce weight is your DETERMINATION and WILL POWER to do so. Without that NOTHING IS POSSIBLE . I am 90kgs and keep thinking I want o reduce weight but can’t motivate myself enough to do so due to maybe depression or lack of energy for couple of years now . My Mom passed away in COIVD and she had just a wish that I reduce weight and start working and still I am not gathering determination to do so…..sometimes I feel ashamed of myself. I try to watch these kind of real stories to motivate myself …so far no luck . Hoping I will also reduce some day soon and wish you all the same !!😊🙏

walk really helps I used to walk for almst 3 hours when I have started my journey..I used walk 1hr in the morning and 2hrs in the evening..In this june I was 81 KG I have started my journey from 17th june ..first 2 months I walked for 3hrs and then due to some problem I HAD TO WORK FOR 1.5 hrs in the evening and I burn 400 cal by walking for 1.5hrs..my weight is now 63.4 kg and recently I have started exercising..so don't say that working not works it might not work for you but walking is a cardio and it works
