Your take on the Pistons pick is exactly how the Pistons stay as bad as they are, drafting for potential every single year and hoping for development clearly hasn't worked out for them so why keep doing it? Knecht is exactly what this team needs, an nba ready lights out scorer that can space the floor for Cade and his age would greatly benefit this team, just a very bad take lol

That, and if Detroit is just as bad next year as they were this year, everyone in the front office has their neck on the chopping block. Taking a high floor-lower ceiling NBA ready player will improve them, and possibly save their jobs.

@@benaube5946 with them hiring a new POBO, i already think the Front Office is done for, which im more than happy about

@@ImJustKyle_ That’s probably for the best; I do hope Troy Weaver lands somewhere though. He clearly knows what he’s doing but ownership got in the way forcing him to hire Monty and trade for Wiseman (and more notably, trade away Bey). I don’t think he’s actually too shabby of a GM when it comes to drafting, hopefully he can flourish in a stable front office somewhere.

    A few thoughts
Don’t hate Kentch to Detroit. End of the day shooters need to be around Cade and if they don’t like their chances of getting some in FA he’s the only guy in the draft that I can guarantee adds space for Cade. Another year of giving him 90s spacing and his development stunts or he wants out. Either or.
Devin Carter at 12 makes zero sense. OKC isn’t going to do that.
Dillingham sliding to 15 has zero chance of happening. Cody Williams at 17 isn’t happening. This seems like a bad mock.

Reed Sheppard has two basketball parents his dad played in the nba and his mom is a Kentucky legend, is 6'3" (measured the exact same size as Steph Curry at the combine) and shot 52 percent from 3 last year, off the bench. On top of that, Kentucky played him more minutes than dillingham due to the fact that he's an elite shooter who didn't need the ball in his hands to score. Dilly will take 2 to 3 years to grow and get better. Shephard can come in be effective now

@@cp_digital absolutely not, just saying height isn't that big of a factor here. He's not 5'9" like nate robinson

I don’t want to say bust for anyone in this draft, but there’s going to be some disappointments

As a Wiz fan i cant decide who i prefer to fall, i think Sarr is the Pick if they for whatever reason were both available, but i think i want Sarr to go 1st. Risacher would hopefully be the Pick to Wash and id hope they can move Kuzma to a team with Cap Room and Draft Assets. Preferably in next yrs draft, but i dont see any team with a shot at the lottery next year moving there 1st.

This dude acts like this draft is full of studs. From 4-15 there no substantial difference between talents in this draft. This might be the best draft to acquire a talent of fit. None of these guys at that stage of the draft are projected to be stars. Dalton Knect is fine for Detroit because they need shooting and a guy who can come in and contribute right away. They do not need another 19 year to develop. Got 5 players under 23 right now to develop. Only people who look at the record and no zero about the team believes they should draft for talent alone. If this guy were objective he'd already know Detroit has been drafting BPA every year and how has that worked out? They have been taking the upside guy every year and ignored the need for shooting and off ball play that Cade needs to thrive. Eventually you can't just draft for talent alone fit and a direction must be chosen. Knect is everything Detroit needs. A guy who can play off the ball, shoot at a hyper efficient rate, he's athletic, finishes well, nba body and cuts well and he has positional size. Is that not the perfect compliment to your franchise player Cade. He doesn't have huge upside but could he be a Bojan, Hueter, or a Herro. I'd take that instead of hoping for another 19 year old to develop from this weak draft.

I have to admit that you are a funny guy. Can you give us something to suggest why Sarr is fool's gold? I am curious as to why you have reached that conclusion. Are you guessing and hoping that he fails in order to support your narrative.

Anyone who thinks Risacher should be the number one pick...is not qualified to be judging anyone elses Mock draft. lol
