As a Pistons fan this team will remain at the bottom until ownership of the team changes because it's clear they don't care about making the Pistons better. With that being said we should absolutely try to trade for booker or Trae young this team needs all the help it can get

As a denver nuggets fan that is one of the worst trade ideas I've seen this off-season. MPJ is insanely important for our spacing and he's been getting better on both ends of the floor every season his been able to play. He is not the reason we didn't win the ring this year.
While I don’t wanna scapegoat him as THE reason Denver lost, he did play like absolute shit in a tight 7 game series

Bad trade for OKC, go for OG Anunoby and/or Nic Claxton. We have enough ball handlers between Shai, Jdub & Chet who can act as a hub. I’d also like to see Cason Wallace get the ball more off the bench if Giddey gets shipped.
OG would never play in okc and claxton doesn’t fit okc style I would be shocked if okc went for him but if they did go after a more traditional big it would be claxton
As a Pels fan, let go of Willie Green, get a PG, a Center along with a backup Center. If Willie is fired, keep Jonas and maybe get a Center that rebounds! Nicholas Claxton, Jared Allen, or somehow Isaiah Hartenstein.
I don’t think Willie is the coach for this team, we finished the season 0-26 when trailing in the fourth quarter. Along with the lineups he put out, I don’t think he can get us to a deep playoff run.

As a Mavs fan I can say, I love dodo, and what he did for us being that primary defender for us a little while ago, but Josh green feels like he is already a better defender and as good if not a better shooter, and he's young and can develop. The only thing dodo has over him is length and size, but that's just my opinion.

That being said, no! I dont see that Dallas trade whatsoever. If anything its THJ+2025 1st for DFS!
But I want to see a trade that opens up enough cap space to bring DJJ back. Means something like Troy Brown for THJ and some 2nd round picks with Detroit. Something like that. Hardy proves right now that he can be the bench scorer of the future and 27 years old DJJ is a better option then 31 years old DFS at this point. This move would open up the full MLE to resign DJJ and the entire team would stay together. People forget, that 6 guys of our current 9 man rotation are 25 or younger! Luka 25, Gafford 25, Washington 25, Green 23, Hardy 22, Lively 20... add 27 years old DJJ and 29 years old Exum and we have 8 of our core 10 being (Maxi 32, Kyrie 32) under 30! Not to mention that 22 years old O-Max looked extremely good in the G-League and could replace Maxi in the rotation very soon.
If Dallas gets this done, I think this would be a perfect offseason. Complete stability within the rotation is worth more to me right now then any POSSIBE upgrade that we COULD trade for.

None of these trades really move the needle for me, but I do hope the East is more balanced next season. Too bad we don't have a couple of expansion teams in the West yet so we can move the Grizzlies and Wolves over to the East... Ja and Ant in the East would give that conference a big boost of young talent and geographically it just makes sense.

On a video like this, you should make all of these trades in 2k, and simulate to see how they all the teams end up. At the end give all the teams a grade for the trade they proposed.

Spurs fan here: Your feelings on KJ are so spot on and I couldn’t agree any more. Just hate to admit it cause I love the kid and what he brings day in and out
Nuggets one is interesting but it sort of defeats the depth purpose. The center depth would be great but if Mpj is gone that slides Bruce into the starting 3 which works. With that though you don’t have the ball handling depth that you had in Bruce’s first stint in Denver where he’d be off the bench. Also I get the young player trope for Malone but Zeke isn’t capable. If whatever shooting coach hadn’t changed his shot he would be but he can’t shoot now and he’s too little to guard big 5’s. Also not athletic enough to play above the rim to make a difference.
TLDR: Every bad team should trade every good player and hope future draft picks pan out

Call this me being a delusional nuggets fan, but I hated that MPJ trade. When hes hitting his shots MPJ is one of the best players I can imagine putting around jokic. Hes a big spacing wing, if he learns to play more physical and make use of his size advantage on both ends of the court I could see him being the best third option in the league.

As a Pacers fan, there are 2 guys I really want this offseason and that’s Wiggins and Drummond. Our rebounding desperately needs work, and we need a primary wing defender to match up with the Tatums and Jimmy Butlers and even Scottie Barneses of the East. I think that takes us into next season as legitimate challengers in the East again, without having to rely on injury luck to win some series

For that Knicks trade. Are we taking minutes away from Josh hart/OG for Gary Payton? Taking minutes away from Brunson/duece/divo for moody? Knicks are fine as they stand. Only way I see them making a move is if they’re packing guys like bojan, precious and picks for a bench upgrade or a starting 2 to have Donte come off the bench. If Mitch is getting traded, it’s either for straight draft picks to free up money or it’s for another big.

Dont forget they do not own their 1st next season... so they need as much talent as possible this year. And at 2 they can either draft Risacher (as an Avdija replacement) or Sarr as the Center of the future.
If i was the nuggets i would try to trade MPJ and KCP for Jerami Grant and Malcolm Brogdon, if they find a way to do it i think it is a solid idea

Jarace walker was a project pick at 18 years old at 8 overall, and improved way more than expected year one. Why would you trade that and your young backup center for Caruso. Caruso is good but walker has great potential still and I expect him to start games at sf in 2025 if not next season
