Edey is my favorite player in this draft. I’m not sure why he’s been disrespected so much.
I don't see the evidence that Edey's too slow to stay on the court when a 36-year-old Brook Lopez played 30 minutes a night last year. Edey was faster than even a 20-year-old Brook tested as coming into the league, nevermind him after 16 seasons, multiple major injuries, etc. He also still played 20-25 minutes a game in the 2021 Finals, despite getting attacked and hunted as brutally as I've seen happen to an NBA big, and they still won the series. Obviously Edey probably won't come in and right away become the 3-point shooter Brook Lopez is, but if he can add enough offensive value as a screener, roller, and offensive rebounder to offset whatever teams can get off him on the perimeter, I see no reason why he can't stay on the court and play a significant role on an NBA team.

I’ll take Dilly at 4, Kenecht at 8, use one of their second round picks and an asset and a future 2nd round pick package that and move up late 1st round to snag Ryan Dunn, then with the other second round pick take Baba Miller. Those two last picks are defensive beasts, playmakers, really good passers, and definitely great finishers

Id like the spurs to try to figure out a way to end up with risacher and castle. I think that would be a great duo to put around wemby to grow around
Add a guy like nicholas Claxton in the off season and that's a dangerous lineup with huge potential and not to mention their draft assets

Could definitely see the Spurs redshirting Topic. But if that's the plan, they won't draft him at 4. There's a good chance he'll be available at 8. Draft BPA at 4 and Topic at 8. I'm good with that.
For the Spurs, Risacher at 4 (if he is available at 4) and Topic at 8.
I'm good with any two of Topic/Risacher/Salaun...Castle as an alternate at 8 if only one of the others is available.

OK, I wanna say something. This is kind of stupid to me because when did 22 years old 2122 years old become an old man you are still in your development age of being in anything in life. You have to get up get off your mama so people need to stop people need to reevaluate how they evaluating players at 2122 years old you’re still in development you haven’t begin to get to where your Apex is going to be, so people need to stop and realize this just because you’re not 18 years old doesn’t mean you still don’t have many many many years of development. These players can get better. Don’t have higher ceilings than everybody because they’re not 19 years old give me a break let’s just stop this narrative. It’s ridiculous.

I would love to understand how people think Buzelis “fits” the Pistons, he can’t fucking shoot lmao
His shot is a nuanced conversation that I could write a whole essay on, but the biggest takeaway is there is other signals out there besides just zoning in on his 27% from 3 on 120 attempts in the G this last season.
He was 45% from 3 in high school, his mechanics are good, he had nearly no bad misses last year (air balls, backboard first)
I mean I don’t love it, but the only other reliable shooters in this draft that will be in the 5 range is Kentch, and I could be sold on that too.
@@UnbeatableJacob Knecht is my pick or if Clingnan falls to us, but drafting a dude because he shot good in HS but then shot really bad at higher competition isn’t a good selling point, we have already “hoped” that Ausar could develop a jumper and it was atrocious last year, having Ausar, Buzelis and Duren on the court at the same time does nothing but hurt Cade even worse
@@ImJustKyle_well, yeah, if you don’t buy the shot it’s a terrible pick. I personally do, just watch the film on his attempts, his shot is incredibly pure. The 120 attempts in the G doesn’t paint whole picture, small sample and bad environment.
Watch his highlights he has a decent mid range shot like Dirk and will develop into an efficient three point shooter
@@ShadowSelf216 my only issues is, the pistons have been hoping people develop their shot for like 3 seasons now, i think they just need to draft a proven shooter, thats why i like Knecht the best for the Pistons
