Thank you so much! We’re just starting to see some buds on the trees and the grass is slowly coming to life! More snow is in the forecast of course 😉 happy spring!

I'll have to look into that Gro-Low Sumac and Maple Leaf Viburnum for the front of the house. Right now, I'm on a Carex kick and thought your tall Viburnum could use a few Carex pensylvanica or Carex muskeegomensis around the base to really make it shine. I'm trying to find a good supplier of C.woodii to make a lawn replacement, and think it'd look very nice under the Sumac when the leaves have dropped, revealing the semi-evergreen Carex. So many plants, so little time.....

I love the carex suggestion around the viburnum! We have a few bulbs there but they’re gone by late spring so I definitely need some season long color there. Nothing beats a good native grass, they’re amazing!

@@BrightLaneGardens I'll look forward to seeing what you come up with. I just learned about Carex cherokeensis 'Crying Time' available from Plant Delights nursery, a very dangerous website if you value your bank account. I think I might have to add one under my oak to help show off the beautiful Pen Sedge.
