- Replacing The Orifice Tube on 2001 Ford Expedition. This will be the same process for Lincoln Navigator and Ford F150.
Symptoms was refrigerant pressure Normal and No cold air.

This is deep stuff, I'm sure lot's of Mechanics do not know this. They will just junp to chage your compressor or to add ac gas. Thanks do much!
best way to change orfice tube is from the passenger side wheel well, remove tire and cover and then you have full access to the line with more wrenching room.
Easiest way to get to that is remove the plastic inner fender well liner and you can get to it without removing the battery,battery tray and all that other stuff

Did you have normal guage readings, but no cooling at vent with this clogged orrifice?
Yes, on both my Lincoln Navigator and my brother Ford Expedition.
That system was filthy. Should have replaced the entire system to do it right.
