    ♥ Frequently Asked Questions ♥
Q: Do you plan before, during, or after the week?
A: It varies from video to video, but typically I plan 2-3 times during the week and stitch the clips together. I rarely plan the entire week in advance or the entire week retroactively.
Q: Do you use all of these planners?
A: Yes and no. Every week, there is something in my life that takes priority over the others whether it be school, work, or something personal. Depending on the week, I select a few planners that will help me achieve my tasks! So not every planner is used every week.
Q: How do you get so much done in a day?
A: If you watch any of my journaling vlogs, you’ll realize that I have very poor sleeping habits and so naturally I’m able to fit more things into the day. It’s something I’m trying to fix but admittedly this is the only reason.

Ngl, I loved the “Earl early” that you almost wrote twice, and reading Dorian grey as the justification for buying the earl grey ink. It’s little quirks like that that make these videos so enjoyable to me 😂 I love swatching videos in general but there’s something so cozy about yours

The "never dry" aspect of Majestic Blue can be found in many sheening inks. Sheen is the result of highly-concentrated dye that doesn't get absorbed into the paper. The dye forms a layer of tiny, fragile crystals that are easily reactivated into ink by pressure and moisture, such as finger oils.
Majestic Blue is one of the more behaved sheening inks. I've never had it create sheen dust but I'm a lefty and I avoid wet pens. If Majestic is misbehaving then consider putting it into a pen with a drier flow.
Good luck finding a suitable yellow! If you find one, let us know! Diamine's Louise (Little Lou for a 30mL bottle), a CultPens exclusive, is the best yellow that I've found so far but I mostly stick to browns. KWZ's Honey, Diamine's Amber, and Diamine's Sunshine Yellow are all on my wishlist.
As an aside: I'm fond of Carl Jung and his positive, empowering view of anxiety. If he hasn't already crossed your desk, give him a shot!
I watched one of your "plan with me" videos. Your planners are works of art! I don't think I'll ever get that involved with my own planner but watching you make yours was a satisfying experience. It is nice to see that kind of passion and I wish you the best in your endeavors!

Hi there! Lovely video as always! The "Eisen-Gallus-Tinte" is the classification of the ink as an iron gall ink (it really quite smells, doesn't it?). The colour name is "Scabiosa". I'm not quite sure on the name but I think it's either inspired by scarab beetles or a flower called Skabiose (pincushion flowers?). And your German pronunciation is really good for not speaking the language, no worries at all! Greetings from Germany

I love fun colors, but I definitely find that some colors, as you’ve mentioned, are hard tor read for written writing. Well, it's funny that for J. Herbin english speaking people pronounce the J in english and Herbin in some sort of french 😅 In french the J is pronounced similar to the G in english, so that'd be the correct sound.
I've been a fountain pen user for almost two decades and a half and you're the very first person I find in CZcams that truly understands my need for finer nibs, I too can write two lines of text inside a single line of a college ruled sheet 😌 I only use needlepoints, EF, F and custom grind 0.7 stubs, not even M works for me 😅

I completely understand the anxiety because I deal with it too! I always hate getting unexpected phone calls when I’m in the middle of something because my nerves are always frayed afterwards! 😵‍💫 I currently have over 40 inks from different brands (pilot, oster, diamine, etc) and I know it’s waay more than I need, but I plan on getting more!🤪 When it comes to ink colors, I tend to gravitate more towards reds and greens. I’m not sure why though… 🧐 Maybe it’s because every time I take one of those “which Hogwarts house are you in?” quizzes, I’m always put in either griffindor or slytherin? 🤷‍♀️

It really is painful trying get all the best effects out of fountain pens And inks... I got an early grey because of ur recommendation And i can't get it out as light shade as ur video... When it comes to writing with a glass pen, i prefer using the flater side to write thicker And smoother~ can also pat dry the ink before it dry to create lighter shades 😂

I love the Pilot Kakuno in a Fine nib. It's about $12, I get the completely clear case so I can see my pretty ink rolling around inside.
The Platinum Preppy is also a good pen, about $6, but it feels kinda cheap.
Still, if you don't know if you'll like writing with a fountain pen, I'd say get yourself a Preppy in a Fine (03) or above; Extra Fine (02) is super scratchy and not pleasant to write with. If you like the Preppy, then get a Kakuno and try it. From there you might want to branch out and try others, or you might just stick with the Kakunos. :)
Jinhao also makes some gorgeous pens for about $4-8 each but their idea of "medium" is pretty "bold" to me, so I had to change out the nibs. They're all metal and have a really nice weight and feel to them. You just can't see the ink inside! The X450 is super solid, the X750 is noticeably lighter (but still much more "real pen" feeling than any of the plastic fountain pens).

I love pilot inks, but I don't think that the bottles are air tight because all of my bottles are half full and with over 60 bottles, I KNOW i haven't gone through all of that ink.

I’ve swatched new inks in an unlined Cosmo Air notebook, also using glass pen identity, but bigger swipe with an Automatic Pen. Many inks don’t readily reveal themselves in 1/4” confined boxes. Think going bigger, you won’t fit as much as you’ve catalogued per page, but so what?

My absolute favorite black is Platinum Carbon Ink. It's waterproof, so once it's dry, you can go over it with a Tombow and not smear anything. Plus it's BLACK black. Not like those chalky blacks or blue-blacks.
