The color of Writer’s Blood seemed a bit off in this video. I’ve posted a more accurate picture on the community page.

Great sampling of a fave brand, 5 of them I've added to my want list, including the Jinhao 82 glass dip pen. Stopped video to order 😆 Such a fan of their 82 this was a given to purchase. Thanks!

    Midnight is super underrated!
Subtle red/gold sheen. Well lubricated dry ink.
Useful in any pen and at work !

The dip pens look like a lot of fun to use, and it is nice to see a sample of different colored inks.

Good video for the inks. I was hoping you would do a More extensive review of the Jinhao 82 dip pen. I have one of those and was scratchy right out of the box. Has to soften the tip a bit.

Thanks! I found it to be largely comparable to the standard Fountain Pen. My nib was pretty smooth out of the box, but if you find it scratchy I imagine it would be ok to polish it with a few drops of water on fine grit sand paper.

The dip pen looks great 👍 My Writers Blood looks very different to your swatch, mine is def a deep red..!! My fav Diamine ink is now Red Dragon which is a beautiful red and is currently living in my Lamy 2000 ❤

I was a bit surprised by how it showed up on the card. On most papers I have it looks more like a maroon. I’ll check out Red Dragon, thanks for the rec!

Lamys are my fave, always go back to writing with them with a stub ✒ and easily pass away hours without noticing. glad to see someone else using them :)

Hi! Is the nib made of real glass or plastic? I read somewhere else that it's made of acrylic.

    Thanks for the videos!
I noticed you don’t shake or agitate your inks before using, is there a reason?

Thanks! I don’t tend to unless they have shimmer in them. None of the ones I sampled do.

Polar Glow looks really nice. I do not own a glass nib as I am affraid it will brake easily. How brittle are they?

I haven’t tested it, but it feels pretty durable.

Hi! Are you still going to do a review on the Visconti Mirage Mythos Apollo Fountain pen?
