Kusumapriya - Arunagiri Szeyuan Lam performs the Bada Sthayee

In dedication to Guru Deba Prasad, Giri performs this Stayee that he learnt from his mum/guru, who learnt this work from Guru Durga Charan Ranbir
( Nrutyayan - Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India).
The Stayee is a pure dance item and requires the dancer to demonstrate sound understanding in form and footwork and must know music and rhythms. This is considered an advance work. It is a work that demonstrates stamina, courage, beauty, and clever and brilliant composition and choreography. The music has so much colour and brilliance, while it is interfused with verses or from the Shilpashastra nusarini, and much recognition has been attributed to the late guru, Shri Deba Prasad Das for this tireless efforts.
Giri is humbled and offers this sadhana to Guruji and all the musicians who created this masterpiece.
