  • Hariraam is the eldest son of Geetha S Lam & Lam Ghooi Ket, and is a fulltime musician in Malaysia. He studied music at the Temple of Fine Arts, and graduated under the able guidance of his Guru Shrimathi Kanagamani Vijayendra, who is the direct disciple of Guru Lalgudi G Jayaraman. Hari spent a year training in India under the guidance of Guru Lalgudi GJR Krishnan while being supervised and lovingly honed by the great master Lalgudi Jayaraman sir himself. It was a crucial year to have spent in the company of pioneers and esteemed artistes in India, attending katcheris and being a part of festivals. He continues to train and now has established his career as a musician, teacher and shares the beauty and lilting music of his gurus in the Lalgudi style of music. He dabbles with collaborative work with local musicians and is a vital force in Malaysia as a leading new generation violinist, and has performed in numerous arangetrams and salangai pujas. On the local scene he has created music for jingles, advertisements and music videos. He sings, teaches nattuvangam and can dance, and create dance compositions as well. He is trained in Bharatanatyam, Odissi, and dance forms that he was priveleged to be exposed to while being a part of the Temple of Fine Arts and Geethashankarandance.
    Hariraam has created this work as a dedication to the Goddess and the GSD school.
