Tom was spot on about la liga and the sometimes too much overhype of the premier league.
yh i mean everyone keeps saying PL is the best, since 2000, 10 spanish teams won CL whereas 5 PL. 4 europa league trophies for England, 11 for Spain. also the premier league has become similar to what La liga used to be like with the past 5 years city and liverpool dominating.
obviously PL is the most popular and the richest, but it seems like people really are underestimating La Liga with the achievements theyve made. It could also be a case of less game for La liga, with them only having european competition, league and 1 cup. england has 2 cups, league and european. but still i think people really over estimate on PL even though it is great and under estimate la liga.
@@-Gacho The 2 leagues I mostly watch are the prem and la liga. La liga in terms of footballing quality is the best in my opinion. The most competitive and enjoyable is the prem without a shadow of a doubt. But you perfectly summed it up: the Spanish teams have been dominating European football in the CL and Europa League in the past few decades. So I don’t understand how people can call it a lesser league than the prem.
@@-Gacho winning UCL is irrevant to the quality of the league ….. say Bayern winning UCL for 5years straight, it doesn’t mean Bundesliga become the best league in the world…… league competitive, fans, revenue, tight schedule (Boxing Day), and league drama makes it “the best” ……. Fans want entertainment and for example in the last gameweek City nearly lost the league to liverpool (2-0 down in 70 min) won the league with only 1 point….. Leeds nearly relegated until they scored in the last minutes against brentford…. That’s what you call Entertaintment

I think the PL being "10x better" is just an opinion of people who don't actually bother watching the other leagues, La Liga is more or less as competitive as the PL is

Arsenal was the first club that came to mind for me and that was before Ben mentioned it himself. I’m not a fan, but Foster using his experience to make Englands future number 1 the best keeper he can be, seems to be a good move for both Ben and the future of Englands national team. Not to mention that their relationship would be quality and I’m sure they’d get on in an instant. Plus Leno is too good to be a number 2, so moving him on and getting Foster in would make sense for Arsenal too.
Arsenal already have a keeper coming in.

Thanks for your time with the Hornets. Especially during the Covid season in the Championship the Go Pro in the goal was just great to watch and its great to have all those videos of a promotion year that could be looked back on.
Thought about the J League in Japan. Definitely some obstacles to it with the Language barrier and moving a family to a new country or being away from them in a new country, but it is a fairly competitive league, Torres and Iniesta have wound down there careers their.

The great thing about Ben is that I always wondered how the life of a footballer is in a top end league but not as a top start rating like Ronaldo or so (Ben still top quality and down to earth) he shows us the ins and outs and if i were a pro i would’ve definitely do the same because fans like us always wonders how it is behind the scenes

Say what you will Foz but for the club not to treat you with respect you deserve is heartbreaking and from the outside it doesn’t look great for them. You’ve built a huge fan base and you have a massive following so any club that snatches you up will be lucky.

Message for you Ben, after all the rubbish the Watford chairman has come out with, your vlogs/ behind the scenes have been fantastic mate, letting fans see what goes on is solid gold. The comments from chairman asking you to stop the vlogs just shows the massive disconnect between club and fan. If the chairman only has your vlogs to pick on after a relegation season, changing managers how many times, he should resign now, bloke is a chump. I personally am a Rugby fan but I really enjoyed the vlogs and they got me interested in how Watford were doing and watching match of the day and rooting for Watford. I’m not on my own with this, more clubs should encourage this, done right and professional like yours, it connect the club with more fans which can only be good thing. Hope you get a club soon and can’t wait for the next chapter.
How about no.2 at West Ham? Areola's loan expired so we need another goalie. It would probably work like it has this season where Fabianski would play Prem games and you would play the European games. Also, you’d still be in London and you could keep your house and studio and you would get to play European matches against other big European teams

@@ralphelhaddad823 that’s like most leagues. Spain, England, Germany, France all have leagues that is dominated by 1 or 2 clubs. Out of top 5, only Italy should be considered competitive and it was only recently where juventus was dominating the league.

Love you tubes but Real just won the CL and they don’t collect as many points as City. The league must be at least as tough
Exactly it's almost always a Spanish club that wins the champions league. Also clubs as betis, Villarreal, Valencia, real sociadad and Bilbao will beat most bpl clubs
the league is no where near is tough. the quality of football is shocking

It will be a travesty if this man doesn't get a 2 too 3 year contract as a number 1 he's a season veteran of the prem and hrs a solid keeper
He would probably agree it doesn’t make sense to sign a 2/3 year deal. What if he blows his knee out or drops off dramatically? There’s no resell value so it makes the most sense to just do one year deals

It’s highly unlikely but Scott Carson is supposed to be leaving Man City this summer and steffan’s future looks uncertain and I would love to see Ben at Man City, in the changing room and seeing what it’s like to be at a top club. Bens agent should be right on that move in my opinion. Not to mention the overall financial package would be very good.

He came to watch our youth team's play on the old AstroTurf pitch and chatted with our folk's on the touchline, he was an absolute gentleman...
