Today I wanted to give you guys a look into my mind and show you how I come up with some of my crazy product ideas. Although they may be completely unnecessary inventions you can adapt some of the methods I use to create my products into your own brainstorming and creativity!

When the idea comes as suddenly and unexpected as a loud fart in the library, WRITE IT DOWN! Remembering those unexpected ideas is as valuable as coming up with ideas on demand.
My notes app in my phone has probably 150 ideas I haven't made yet
I only just learned of your youtube channel today, because I'm old and don't do things like look at cross-platform presence for creators, but I'm so glad to have found it. Your genius is incredible, and I'm glad you're doing what you do. Thanks for this glimpse into your process. I'm a process junkie, and this was wonderful to watch.
Recently found this channel and As a industrial design student I'm am loving this and appreciate what you do and will continue to watch, learn and create as well.

yeah i got my idea for a certain type of serving tray just by watching woodworking and craft videos... came up with a new twist and boom, a new concept was born... it amazes me what just keeping an open mind and often unusual distractions can do in helping with creativity.

Do you mind sharing how to sketch your ideas alone? I have tried doing so for a long long time but don't know where to start. I mean I guess the first tip is to just start, but how? Just amazed how you come up these ideas

That's great and all, but how do you do the 3d designing of things? What programs do you use, how did you learn to use it proficiently, and is there a good way to learn that level of product design for free?
A lot of my other videos on here dive into me designing products. I use fusion 360 to design my products and just slowly learned on CZcams through tutorials

Some of my ideas come from what ever I have on hand, just like my native American ancestors, they used whatever they had on hand to make whatever they had the idea for what they needed with what materials they had.

An auto refilling water bottle, a water bottle connected to your bag that refills the water bottle so your water bottle never empties! None likes an empty water bottle
Okay.. Here's a product-idea I'd like to see developed, as I think variations of this basic product concept has some good market potential.. There's those effervescent tablets for denture soaking, right? My thinking is that there should be some effervescent tablets compounded for bathtub soaking for various health reasons or applications.. Say, tablets for an anti-fungal bath soak, or such tablets for some other skin conditions.. Presently there are people that buy (unsafe/dangerous!) high-purity/strength hydrogen peroxide, which they dilute down, and use for body soaking health reasons etc.. So ;there needs to be a product developed so people don't have to deal with hazards of high strength H2O2. A long time ago, my cousin told me to soak my scalp in an aspirin solution to help circulation to deal with my dandruff.. Maybe there's some therapeutic value in having soak tablets that provide a mild aspirin solution etc.(?).. Maybe if this is outside your ballpark, you can forward to someone into cosmetics, OTC health products development or something..
Maybe have a similar line of effervescing/dissolving "medicated" tablets for foot-soaks.
And hey.. if you like my body and foot soak dissolving tablet idea, there's another biggie, unaddressed. Chiggers. A few decades back, while reading through some natural/herbal health remedies info., I came across an article about an herbal bathtub soak some old-timers claimed to have discovered to repel chiggers!! -Put that in an effervescent bath soak tablet!! Chiggers are the main reason I never bought land in those areas..
