I didn't like wearing vest jackets before, but now I have a few for the purpose of concealment & my class also mentioned we should use hollow points because they don't over penetrate as much as FMJs, which I didn't know, so now I have to invest in some of that ammo later on
Good video, thank you. I would love to see a video (from experts like you) that would walk through the pros and cons of all of the different holster types. Appendix does not work for me. I usually do 3-4 o'clock iwb. However, living in a cold climate, that means it is often buried underneath clothing. I have also tried owb, with much the same results. I have considered a shoulder holster, but I would want one that points down, not back. I am sure I have spent more in finding a holster than in the gun, and still do not love what I have.
What would a woman wearing a formal dress to say a wedding be able to carry her weapon concealed 🤔? Short of finding a holster she could strap around her thigh the only option would be in her purse. Also, depending on the dress she might have more difficulty accessing her pistol from said holster than from her purse 👜. Always better to have it than not 😌
@@r.parker8299 you don’t have it if it’s in a purse. What woman do you know at a wedding that Carries around a purse? They all go into the same locked room usually and are collected when they leave. A gun in the purse not only is useless if it’s actually needed but it’s also pretty irresponsible to leave a gun in a purse that can easily be stolen. Just try googling why off body carry is a bad idea. You’ll find countless videos of people being robbed/ attacked/ or shot who could not retrieve the gun they had in a backpack/suitcase/purse.

One, only the women (i.e. who are participating in the wedding such as bride, bridesmaids and mothers) won't be carrying a purse 👜. Second, you didn't say where those women should be concealing their pistols or are they just suppose to depend on someone else to protect them if a situation arises 🤔? I know for a fact that several ladies who are widows or single carry in their purses while at church. Sometimes you must adapt your strategy based on the circumstances. That's my opinion and you are entitled to yours.

I’ve been at this for quite some time and will go over thoroughly why I believe of body carry is a terrible option. Yes it’s better to have access than not have one at all but I will explain why I believe pre planning in a situation like a wedding would help tremendously. I have come across far to many accounts of good people who were carrying in a backpack or purse and unfortunately not able to retrieve their firearm when it’s needed most. It’s truly disturbing, disgusting, and upsetting to see.
Appendix carry for a new to carry person is a MAJOR red flag. If and or when mistakes are made it is usually with a newer shooter and a mistake made with an appendix carry could be a deadly error.
Love most S&W guns that I've had. Have no appreciation for USCCA. From what I could determine, they are the worst choice for conceal carry coverage. They certainly know how to get some very popular CZcams gun reviewers to shill for them, unfortunately.

I’m getting my enhanced conceal carry permit this weekend and I’ve only heard of USCCA, I’m asking because I will be looking for some insurance really soon just in case I ever have to defend my family, myself or someone else who might need help staying alive, thank you for any help you can give and have a great day brother.
@@sheldonjplanktonn no you can legally conceal and open carry here but there are stipulations on where, one example is a public school, without the enhanced part you can’t carry at a school with it you can, there’s a list of exactly how it works.
@@sheldonjplanktonn walking through tall tractor grass got gored in back calf tumbled over shot one boar killing it instantly the other was a razor back that I threw my back pack at and kicked in the face I then shot it twice once in the mid spine then point blank into my bag k came out into its head gun Jammed due to moist dew in the air and dirt (early morning pulled Taurus g3c out with Sierra jacketed hollow points and shot one more 8 times before he fell over killed 3 boar but was decently wounded my mistake was walking into there bedding area 3rd boar was a side running away shot

Good overview for beginners, remember concealed carry in not suppose to be comfortable it is comforting!
Off body is a terrible option and it’s sad to see S&W pushing it as if it’s not. On person is the only proper way to carry a firearm

@@sheldonjplanktonn in Mississippi the enhanced part lets you carry EVERYWHERE except for a courthouse or police station.
