All, a little confused right now. A few of you are mentioning that barbarians should not be on this list. I didn’t put barbarian on this list. It’s my number five favorite movie of the year, on the best list. Am I missing something here?
I'm mentioning it because it was on my list for worst films this year. If you liked it that's cool, but me personally.. I left the theater feeling sick to my stomach.
Hello sir, I don't know if you've seen the videos, but Mr. Peele based his creature on the phenomenon of deep-sea gigantism but only if the creature lived in one of the atmospheres, we as humans never visited. He figured it would show the characteristics of a giant jellyfish just in the sky.
Now I gotta say I have smoked a lot of pot in my day but never enough to think something that looks like a bridal shower decoration would be scary. What the hell was that thing. Sorry, call it jealousy as a writer of horror/thrillers myself but that was just bad execution on his part for what could have visually been the Close Encounters of the 3rd kind with kills for this generation. Sorry for the rant, happy new year to all with peace & luv sprinkles.
@@hilariousjamin loved it. 10x better than nope for sure 😂
I think dropping in some of your favorites that you missed might have confused some people... that's my guess... I didn't have a problem...
@@ShawnG1971 Uh, yeah! It definitely confused the hell out of me 😐
No movie pissed me off more than Corey Cunningham Ends.
That’s one thing I love about you Lee. I always love how brutally honest you are when it comes to your movie opinions especially for what you like and dislike respect.
My top 3:
1. Jeepers Creepers Reborn
2. Morbius
3. Halloween Ends (not crap, but they really disappointed me in terms of the marketing)
Side note - Filmmaker shouldn't be held responsible for the misleading marketing, controlled by the distributor, sales agents and/or studios - but agree regardless
@@MrNecroZoupa it's not the filmmakers fault
@@EpictasticJoshuaYT agree to agree then 🤝
I do feel your most laudable CZcams accomplishment this year was the Halloween documentary and defending Halloween Ends. Honestly, the more times I watch it the most I have come over to your camp. I also want to say I deeply deeply appreciate all you have done on this channel. I am a horror fan and I love it. You had a great year here Lee. You grow this community year after year with an open heart and open mind. It is truly wonderful.
Thank you so much Dominick! Far too kind. 👏
Firestarter is my least favorite movie of the year. The most memorable part was when my aunt screamed “YOU FUCKING BITCH!” when Charlie kills the cat.
Even tho I don't plan to watch this, please watch the spoilers in your comment
I love how this year is so divisive. It means we have a lot of rewatchability and room to change our minds on these films. That’s a pretty good year
I feel like I'm the only that disliked The Barbarian. I mean, it started off promising but then it just got weird and disgusting as the film progressed.
Agreed.
I didn't like it either. Very disappointing to me.
I was tearing my hair out over the constant idiot moves the characters made. Even the two kids in Beast were less stupid. I went in completely blind and it still disappointed.
The Sadness was my in my top 5 of 2021.
The worst of movies for me was:
1. Firestarter
2. Morbius
3. The Invitation
4. Speak No Evil
5. The Witch part 2
6. Goodnight Mother
7. Fall
8. Shut In
From here on can't really remember anything about these movies to rate
The Cellar
House of Darkness
The Inhabitant
Monster Portal
Who Invited Them
Troll
The Twin
He's Watching
My Best friend Exorcism
Something in the Dirt
Mr. Harrigan's Phone
The viral outbreak in The Sadness Isn't a Zombie outbreak. My friend Brad (BroncoJuggalotalksmovies) stated these aren't Zombies, its more a Rage virus that causes people to pillage, rape and just go berserk. Its also based on a comic series called Crossed and The Violence in the books goes EVEN Harder than the movie showed, I liked the movie and can't wait to read the series.
He’s not wrong.
The original Firestarter is worth watching. Not great, but it's decent.
The movie I couldnt take and cannot watch again is Bone tomahawk ..... It was 2 rough in that "one scene" just was too rough
I couldn't even get through The Munsters. I don't know WTF Rob Zombie was thinking with that. It was such a shame too because a different writer and director could do something great with The Munsters. Rob needs to just stick to his own stories and trailer park horror.
And in defense of the ORIGINAL Firestarter: It's a great movie. Drew Barrymore was a better child actress than adult actress IMO. And it's a good 80s movie. The Dad is great (I forget the actors name), the villains are great, I would highly recommend watching it one day when there's nothing else on. And when you watch it, the remake looks even more ridiculous.
Your top 10 list is decent but this I’m speechless lol. I know all opinions and films are subjective but god damn this list is rough as a horror fan .Barbarian watcher nope and smile belong on the top of the year not the worst .
Barbarian is on my best of list.
My Top 5 Worst Horror Movies of 2022:
1. Jeepers Creepers: Reborn (2022)
2. Morbius (2022)
3. They/Them (2022)
4. Prey for the Devil (2022)
5. Amityville Uprising (2022)
I loved Get Out, Us was OK (a one-watch movie for me) but Nope was seriously just BORING as hell. The characters were boring. The monkey scene social message was pointless and dumb. The "alien" literally just looked like a hot air balloon. It's a movie I never want to watch again, and yet I see CONSTANT praise for it online. It just baffles me, like Jordan Peele can do no wrong.
Drumdums: Late I see..
Me: A superhero is never late nor is he early.. he arrives when evil is at work.. Now here's my top 10 worst horror
Lee: oh brother..
My Top 10 worst horror movies:
1. Jeepers Creepers Reborn (Unwatchable)
2. Nope (Nope)
3. Firestarter (Bad)
4. Orhan: First kill (50/50)
5. Netflix's Texas chainsaw (forgettable)
6. Prey for the Devil (Meh)
7. Maneater (Boring)
8. Choose or Die (I choose Die)
9. Deadstream (Pass)
10. Halloween Ends (Lies, Silly, pointless, poor, distressing, regrettable, not up to par, disagreeable, unfavourable, unacceptable, unsatisfactory, inadequate (Idk what this word even means), substandard, wrong, and misleading trailers!!)
Halloween Ends would of been a good stroy as a re-booted movie. Micheal as an secondary villain.
I had so much doing this list :) I want to put Halloween Ends as Number 1.. but tbh, it's not a bad movie.. just as a Halloween movie it is Bad >:( Watched it twice.. NOT boring at all.
Ah that hurts to hear lol I absolutely loved Nope, it's in my top 5 of the year. I really like alien films though and watching UFO videos so that film was right up my alley anyway. The twist halfway through I feel either makes or breaks it for an individual and it hit me weird at first but after they showed how it worked more I really dug it.
Yeah. It's such an original idea to conceive of this alien as a beast: neither evil nor benevolent, but simply an entity that does what it will.
Jordan Peele is overrated.
And a racist.
AHAHAHAHA ''if i watch a Jurrasic Park movie i kinda just want vampires eating people!'' I was like, did i hear it right? ahahaha
I totally agree about the ghost and the darkness... It's a great film!
You are right about the entity in Nope, not scary.
Great video Lee, please don't waste 90 mins of your life watching the new Jeepers Creepers when you could be uploading your hugely entertaining reviews, happy New Year btw
Merry Christmas, Lee. To another great year of Drumdums. Hope the holiday brings peace & joy to you & yours, homie. All love
Thank you!
All I know is when Pinhead was like "You have chosen the Lament Configuration", I fkn cried! No other movie made me cry this year.
Nope made me cry.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews lol I skipped that one. Candyman remake was so horrendous, I'm yet to get back on board with Jordan Peele's work. I loved Get Out (I'm mixed Black & White), Us was ok, but Candyman was unforgivable!
@@Nicolas.Vincent I actually like the new Candyman quite a bit, but it doesn't hold a candle to the glorious original.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews Candyman was too sacred to me. I don't have any Horror Icons tattooed on my body - yet, but if I did, the image of Candyman opening his coat with his hook for a hand, revealing his internal bee hive chest comes to mind. I still have the tattoo real estate...
Not exactly a horror movie but the worst movie for me this year was
Violent Night
I want my Morbillion Dollars back
Barbarian.
The new Texas chainsaw Massacre
Probably something else I've erased from my mind
Best movie of 2022 for me is Terrifier 2 I haven't had that much fun watching a movie since Malignant
I can't wait to see M3gen next year I hope it doesn't suck and break the 'all Jan movies flop' mold
Violet Night was fun!
Loved Terrifier 2
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews It had too much toilet humour I guess for me, take that out and I probably would have liked it more
NOPE was pretty NOPE tbh.
More like dope.
Very much so.
Smile was definitely better than it had any right to be, considering it could have been called "The Ring meets It Follows, featuring Oculus". As for Bodies, Bodies, Bodies... all the characters had to be unlikeable in order for the film to work. That was kind of the point, wasn't it? Although, I kinda low-key love Alice...
You watch the trailer for Smile, and it looks so formulaic. The movie itself certainly covers familiar material, but the eerie cinematography, skillful suspense, and lead performance all serve to elevate it.
Calling The Munsters a horror film is like calling Terrifier a comedy
But Terrifier has comedy in it.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews Sure maybe very slightly, where’s the horror in the munsters lol
You didn’t answer! Lol
Looked like a flying napkin 🤣
Absolutely love these lists hell yea!!
The scene where Cujo is attacking the car is reminiscent of the dinner sequence in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for me. The fashion in which it's filmed delivers a similar delirium, which makes it equal parts powerful and savage as fuck.
Agreed!
Haven’t commented in awhile , Hope all is well Lee! Was curious to know what your Top 10 Anticipated Horror movies are for 2023. Hope to see a video soon! You’re the shit Lee keep up the great content!
I’ll be putting that list together today good sir.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews looking forward to it Lee, thanks for the update!
Awesome list! Ditto on Pete Davidson and Nope. Have a Happy New Year Lee!
Happy New Year!
Mostly agree here, though I can see your point of view across the board. Glad there are some you mentioned that I missed or chose to avoid. Of course, that means my own 10 worst features partly horror and adjacent, but also other genres. I suppose honorable mentions to Orphan: First Kill and Studio 666 as films I thought decent enough but better than the following (the bottom 5 being truly odious for me):
10. Three Thousand Years of Longing
9. Thor: Love and Thunder
8. Crimes of the Future
7. Jurassic World Dominion
6. Black Adam
5. Beast
4. The Retaliators
3. Firestarter
2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
1. Morbius
Do respect your opinions. Personally find Nope as my second favorite horror film of the year after the Black Phone.
Nope is awesome.
Nope was the worst movie I have ever seen in a movie theater. What a boring, lame creature design, and just all around huge disappointment.
I was just too excited for nope and my expectations were too high. In the end it just felt okay
Sad attempt of a movie. Peele needs to go back to his shtick.
Nope isn’t even horror it sucks so bad.Honestly I think all Jordan Peele movies are overrated.Descent movies just not scary at all.Not really horror to me
Glad I’m not the only one, who thought Scream was kind of a let down
Yeah man I thought it was pretty bland.
I thought Jurassic World: Dominion improved on Fallen Kingdom. That's not a compliment by any means, but at least there were a few enjoyable action sequences. (The FK sequences were either too cartoonish or too underwhelming to entertain me). But overall, Dominion is a waste of a promising concept and a sorry way to conclude this trilogy.
0:58 haha of course that’s your ringtone DD ❤
Haha it slipped out.
Here’s my Top 10 Worst:
From worst to bad:
1. Hypochondriac (0.5/5)
2. Bodies Bodies Bodies (1/5)
3. Dashcam (1.5/5)
4. Choose or Die (1.5/5)
5. Abandoned (1.5/5)
6. Speak No Evil (1.5/5)
7. House of Darkness (2/5)
8. Terrifier 2 (2.5/5)
9. They/Them (2.5/5)
10. Umma (2.5/5)
I think worst list from people that are very selective of what they watch more interesting than those like me that watch way too many movies from the year as it is usually a list of descent movies that just didn't work for that individual
You're not the only one I did not like any characters on Bodies Bodies Bodies
Definitely saw your YT channel on 13 Fanboy I was I like is that Drumdums,I wish you had a bigger role In that movie,i was so surprised
Don't watch anywhere near the horror flicks you see in a year, Lee.... but: Didn't enjoy Scream 5/Nope/ Bodies, Bodies, Bodies - didn't bother with Beast.... Ghost & The Darkness is probably in my top 50 movies(any genre) all-time! The Firestarter: a dis-service to the original;which was not great either. I didn't even bother with The Munsters- pretty, much dislike anything that Rob Zombie produces. Morbius =🤦. The Meh- Halloween Ends is a total masterpiece compared to the previous films mentioned.
Sorry bro but I didn't find those worst movies that bad they're not great but I wouldn't call them crap. And about The Munsters...it's not that terrible I enjoyed it and have seen it several times. I liked that other classic monsters make an appearance too. The only things I found out of place was that everything was way too colourful and that everything was exaggerated but I think this was intentional. I have The Munsters series and have seen it lots of times and love it including the tv movies which is how Zombie's movie should have looked. Anyway neat list and cool video! I hope you have a happy and prosperous New Year 2023 Lee!🎉
Im glad im not the only one that felt that way about Nope
Enjoyed your video. I gotta say I'm very surprised you've never watched the original Firestarter.
I know me too! It somehow slipped by me. And I love Heather Locklear.
I had the Sadness as my favorite of 2022 but I am a bit of a Gore Hound. My least favorite of 2022 is Flux Gourmet.
I agree Lee, I didn't like NOPE at all either. It was super disappointing.
You didn't missing anything with Jeepers Creepers Reborn, Lee. It's my number one worst horror movie of the year. Everyone has been 'hating' on Morbius and I understand why but, I still love Matt Smith in the film because I feel as though he is having some fun in the role. Hope you and your family had a safe and Merry New Year.
Yeah I'm glad I skipped it Monty!
I haven’t watched many horror movies this year but nice list !!! And you were so pissed that you confused saying vampires instead of dinosaurs hahhaha holy crap, look how a bad movie can mess up our minds 😂😂
The problem with “Nope” is that you need to watch it 2 or 3 times, and you have to really understand the tesis behind it. But yeah, the first watch is kindda weird.
I watched it twice. I definitely understood it more on the 2nd watch. But for me it really dragged quite a bit.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews if I may. Nope for you is what US was for me. I was floored by Get Out. Just like the Sixth Sense floored me decades back. Jordan Peele is a deity to be worshipped, a genius. I said US was great not out of conviction. Individual scenes, yes, dialogue here and there, parts. But the movie, it has to be great. Well the fog lifted eventually. US is DUMB. If we were dealing with a solitary doppelgänger it would be so much better but the expanded scale, stupid. Best to enjoy like Italian horror. Plot, logic are incidental. So Nope didn’t disappoint me. It’s a good flick. Awesomely shot some great scenes great atmosphere. Worth a watch and I placed it above US. But to be honest, if this Peele’s trajectory, he has peaked.
I think Jordan based the alien design from the angels from the anime called Neon Genesis Evangelion. I liked the movie and the alien design but I think the audience were expecting a more traditional Alien design.
I love Let the Right One In and A Girl Who Walks Home At Night Alone as far as vampire films go.
Nope is unfortunately one of those films that I really wanted to like as much as everyone else. I think it’s well made and well performed and definitely deserves the hype and recognition surrounding it, but in the end it just didn’t pull me in enough to convince me.
Your list is pretty good I agree with majority of all your movies list
I didn't see a ton of movies this year, as I get pre-occupied with finding old films that I haven't seen yet, and giving them a watch (even after seeing over a thousand horror films over the course of my life, there are still so many films I have yet to get around to and that I'd still really like to see), and with my other hobbies. This happens pretty much every year. I will say though, two of my least favorite films of the year were Halloween Ends, a film I don't think I could possibly hate more if I physically tried, and The Mean One, which is basically like if the Hallmark channel made a horror movie. I did see some films that I loved this year though. Terrifier 2 is horror film of the year for me by far, possibly even breaking my top five horror films of all time, and I also adored Deadstream and The Sadness.
We put on "The Munsters" one afternoon & within the 1st 10 minutes had to turn it off! It was so confusing & the attempt at comedy felt forced. There's a reason why they screen test actors for specific parts! I guess my "Hate, Hate" relationship with Rob Zombie will continue on...Lol
Yeah it doesn't really "aim" toward anything. It's just a mess.
I was shocked by how much I was captivated by and absolutely loved Smile. I went in with utterly low expectations.
I’m with you. Nope is trash. Peele is declining with each movie. Wasn’t crazy about Us either. I need more.
Hey Lee, sorry this is late but I was at my daughters house for Christmas. I did want to add one movie that came out this year that really pissed me off that they touched at all and that was the remake of Terror Train. Granted it was kind of cool what they tried to do and the switch up was definitely interesting. Still, quit trying to remake classics! Use your brain and come up with something new and refreshing. This year we got Scream 5, Halloween Ends, Firestarter and Chucky series season 2. ( which I did love.) The Munsters and more to come. I don’t know Lee, is it just me or does it seem like Hollywood is losing all capability of having original ideas?
I didn’t even realize they made a remake of Terror Train, until it creeped up on us. No one seemed to like it though.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews it was almost shot for shot. They did take some liberties and changed a couple of things which made a little sense if they had done this in the original. However, that is where it stops.
There are two big movies this year that feature cheeseburgers... And one will make you sick watching it.. I loved The Menu
Great video, Lee..i agreed with most of this buddy.
Only difference is I love orphan first kill. .. I definitely understand why some people didn't Though
Oh I liked Orphan FK. It didn’t quite make my best of list. Solid 3.7/5 though.
@DrumdumsMovieReviews Yep I misunderstood sorry about that man...whatsthe odds you could watch one of my movie reviews and givw me some constructive criticism? I'm trying to optimize my channel and content
@@InShaneMedia just watched one of your recent videos. You’re a damn good speaker and love your intro as well. That’s a great start. Don’t be afraid to show yourself. The video essay game does work for some, but it’s a tough way to build a community. Showing yourself brings you that much closer to your followers. Also you seem to like current films as well as classics, so focus on new releases when you can. It helps keep your channel afloat. But don’t be afraid to cover the classics and especially films that others don’t cover that much. Be consistent and constantly reach out to your viewers. Good luck man. I think you’re off to a great start.
Nope is brilliant, my favourite Jordan Peele movie so far
Such a great year for horror but at the same time some of the worst stinkers came out this year like Dashcam, They/Them, and Jeepers Creepers Reborn.
Jeepers Creepers Rebron is not just my least favourite horror movie of the year but it’s my least favourite movie of the year by far the only other movies that even comes close to it is dashcam and Morbius. Then at 4 is firestarter a complete dumpster fire and finally at 5 would be Jurassic world 3 hopefully the series is gone after that absolute abomination.
LOL Herman Munster kicks ass! Anyone who didn't like that movie must not be dropping enough acid, thats all. I agree about Nope. I noped out of that one.
10. Studio 666
9. Scream
8. We’re All Going To The World’s Fair
7. Pearl
6. Prey for the Devil
5. Men
4. Firestarter
3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
2. Orphan: First Kill
1. The Mean One
I saw a spaceship once, it wasn't that impressive, it was just a silver sphere with a triangle spinning around it with blue lights at each corner. This thing wasn't huge or anything and it must have had a really small alien piloting it so I didn't see it much of a threat. The thing was hovering a building level and then just zipped off toward the sky.
I saw one over the White House back in 96. Scared the living sh it out of me.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews I thought it was some kind of drone of something, I didn't really think much of it until I saw the way it shot off,it sort of zig-zagged, and nothing could move like that. Wish I had my air rifle on me "welcome to earth" haha.
Predictable jump scares
The funny thing is, that even though I know that a jump scare is coming, I get startled anyway...
I personally REALLY didnt like the new Hellraiser or the new Scream. My main problem with both movies is actually the same issue; the main characters and actors are just beyond boring and didnt engage me at all. I just didnt care. But then again what do I know, I love Dashcam. This main character annoyed the shit out of me, but kept me entertained throughout the whole running time!
Couldn't agree more.
I agree with Nope being disappointing. Definitely my least favorite of Jordan Peele’s movies. Didn’t hate it outright, but found it… meh.
Omg, NOPE was THE worst film I’ve seen in years. I walked out three quarters of the way through! Just awful . I love get out and Us
Great list only one I disagree with was Nope easily my favorite horror movie of the year
No, Lee, you can say it! Scream 5 was crap! The Scream franchise as a whole is rather overrated. You said you like vampire movies. Have you ever seen Blacula (1972)? It's about a black vampire.
I totally agree with u saying scream 5 is my least fave scream movie. Full respect for speaking the truth. 6 will be much better. I would love you to do a new ranking video on it too soon! Maybe after 6?
Yes definitely happening.
For the movie Men most of the hate is because it was called Men, when it should have been called Woman since that is what the movie is about a woman. It is kind of like how everyone swarmed on Captain Marvel when they put the SHEro line in the trailer.
In fact we got two mirror horrors this year about a woman dealing with grieve Men and the Resurrection that both hit the same beats
All I know is 2023 is gonna be another great year for horror!
I hope so.
Nope was so disappointing and a complete waste of my time in my opinion.
The Munsters Movie sets up the old tv show that it Lee... You did good stopping watching it. You didn't miss much.
The biggest problem I have with RZ’s Munsters is, who exactly was this movie made for?? His core audience I don’t think are going to be interested in a family film. Also the “kid friendly” audience has probably never heard of the OG show, and aren’t going to be interested either. Just seemed doomed to failure from the start in my opinion.
He could of made it more scary. It was God awful. I couldn't finish. It's his worst project imo
Couldn't have said it better.
1. The Munsters 2. Texas Chainsaw massacre (2022) 3. Scream 5 4. Halloween Ends 5. Morbius
#1. Jeepers Creepers Reborn
#2. The Bunker Game
#3. Crimes Of The Future
#4. They/Them
#5. The Lair
#6. The Requin
#7. Immanence
#8. The Cellar
#9. Halloween Ends
#10. Revealer
Jeepers Creepers has the #1 spot on lock, maybe the worst movie ever.
The rest can be rearranged a spot or 2 but I didn't like any of them.
Good list, most of yours I can definitely agree with
Awesome list, certainly is divisive among fans but I agree with your list, here's mine
10. Firestarter
9. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
8. Prey for the Devil
7. The Cellar
6. Dash Cam
5. They/Them
4. Choose or Die
3. Goodnight Mommy
2. The Invitation
1. Jeepers Creepers: Reborn 🤮
Glad you mentioned Goodnight Mommy. Pointless remake.
If I did a worse of the year list Morbius would have been very near the top of the list as well... The post credits scenes were awful.
Great list. Entertaining as always.
Not trying to be a dick but as a Taiwanese I would like to point out The Sadness is a Taiwan movie.
Glad it gets some international praise!
You're not being a dick at all. My bad on that one. I have a few friends from the military that are Taiwanese. Every one of them are awesome peeps.
Finally someone who understands,I have to agree with you on the Watcher with Maika manroo it bored the hell out of me,and Nope I was so excited for this movie but to bad am not gonna remember it in t minus one day yeah already forgot though I liked Jordan Peele previous horror films especially Get out
I disagree with you on Scream, I enjoyed it quite a bit actually. However, you and I are on the same page about Nope. What a disappointment. I kind of fell like Jordan Peele could be the next M. Night Shymalan. His first movie Get Out was a home run, then Us was a step down, and now Nope is just a complete train wreck.
I liked Scream, but I had problems with it. 3/5.
I agree with you Totally about Nope I didn't like that either and it got so hyped up prior to its release and I also agree with the Invitation didn't even bother with that one but heard so many people comparing it to a Twilight kind of Vampire movie and I hate the Twilight Franchise so no intentions of checking it out.
Yeah man. Decent filmmaking. Horrible script.
6. Orphan: First Kill
5. Bodies, Bodies, Bodies
4. Nope
3. Morbius
2. The Munsters
1. Jeepers Creepers: Reborn
The last two on my list I flip back and forth on as far as which one is the worst
We're definitely on the same page.
“As of right now, ‘Scream 5’ is my least favorite ‘Scream’ movie…”
What a way to discredit yourself in the eyes of the entire Scream community! 👍🏻
Um....no. Most of the movies are probably seen as better in the eyes of the Scream community. Actually, I've never heard a single person state that Scream 5 is even top 3. And I LIKED the movie haha!
Even though I'm more in the casual fan camp, Scream 5 is my third favorite in the series. Let's see what VI does.
@@georgeheilman885 I agree completely! Scream 5 is also my third favorite.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews scream 3 is still the worst 😂. I still love em all I think for me it 1,2,5,4,3
LEAST!?
I still have yet to watch Orphan: First Kill and The Menu, but I plan to watch the former tonight.
Both are solid.
With you on Nope and Beast
We have the same ringtone lol
Haha nice!
I just rented "Bodies Bodies Bodies" today, only because Pete Davidson is in it. 😂 Haven't watched it yet though. The only film I've seen from your list is Scream & I loved that one.
Also, have you seen "Studio 666"? I'm not sure if you're a Foo Fighters fan, but I think it's a worthy film of checking out even if you don't listen to them. I went into it with low expectations because clearly the band aren't professional actors, but I actually thought the movie was fun & surprised me with the gore in it. You might end up liking it the way I did.
Yeah I had a fun time with Studio 666 Amanda. I liked Scream but didn’t love it. Looking forward to Scream 6 though.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews Oh cool, I'm glad you enjoyed Studio 666 as well! That's understandable with Scream, I know others that didn't like it a lot as well due to characters in it mostly. I'm interested too to see what they do with Scream 6.
@@AestheticStar To be fair, my opinion CONSTANTLY changes on the Scream movies. Scream 2 used to be really low for me, now it's my #2 haha!
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews Haha, I'm the same way at times with films. Sometimes we don't vibe with a movie & then we end up liking it more after watching it again. I felt that way with Halloween Kills. I like it more now than I previously did.
Fallen Kingdom is so bad, checked it out free from my local library, just a cluster of ridiculous boring crap, with not much dinosaur action.
I laughed so hard at you saying vampires instead of dinosaurs hahaha!
I can’t do a top 10 as all the ones I ranked the lowest of the year were all so dire lol. If I had to pick worse I would say jeepers creepers 4 on a technical level. As it’s just horrendously made as well as being just a bad film. They had the chance to reboot the series and they just put the final nail in the coffin instead.
Other films I hated this year were - Scream (more disappointing, not a awful film) Prey for the devil, Slash/back, we are all going to the worlds fair, From Below (most boring shark film I’ve ever seen) hatching, Nope, Monstrous, Speak no evil.
Oh I did rewatch TCM and had a blast the second time, I still have a few issues with it. But definitely had fun the second time. So it missed being on this list haha
Charlotte am I getting super old? I swear I never even realize these things when I am, “in the zone”.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews maybe 🤣🤣 but at least you still have your looks, so it’s fine haha.
@@charlottegore5449 Haha I'll take that!
Smile was pretty great. I think sosie bacon has a lot of potential… I loved it!!
I agree with you on Nope. I honestly think this film just sucks lol.
My Top 10 Worst:
10. Morbius
9. Moonfall
8. Margaux
7. Jeepers Creepers Reborn
6. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
5. Hocus Pocus 2
4. Bones and All
3. Shattered
2. Umma
1. Smile
Moonfall not Horror but it was disappointing
The Sadness is Taiwaneses not South Korean
Didn't like Nope either and will never watch it again... KeKe Palmer hollering out at people from a distance the whole damn film... and the lead guy was beyond bland... Jurassic World Dominion on the other hand couldn't get passed the first 40 minutes, just silly and the magic from the first Jurassic Park completely absent..
