Owen averaged 1 goal every 3 matches at Real. Coming from abroad, no knowledge of Spanish, and without a settling in period. Prime Owen scores goals in any league.

Very little respect for Michael Owen's achievements.. Though being a Newcastle fan when he did play and wasn't injured had a good record. Just his attitude was questionable at times. Loyalty in sports is hard when you have personal ambition.

how could he turn real madrid down in 2004? trust me, theres no way any player in the premier league at that time who was offered a chance to play alongside Ronaldo Na Zario, Zidane, Raul, Figo, Roberto Carlos, his english mate David Beckham. No shame in that.
