@jaminwithben tbf it wasn’t specifically getting on base, it’s more targeting a market inefficiency. They wanted players with good OBP because they got good value on those players since OBP was undervalued at the time. I think in the video he may actually be using the SAME strategy instead of the reverse because defense isn’t being valued that much.

I played in a perfect WWBA tournament about 8 years ago and I remember Anthony Seigler playing for the East Cobb Astros. I saw him switch pitch in a game and then get up to the plate and hit a wood bat grand slam at 16… kid was a monster. I hope he finds his stride and cracks the big leagues.

you have to turn it on in settings
Go into the "Game Settings" then go to the "Players & Facegen" tab, it's a check box on the left side of the screen. If you go back and watch his old Ramgers playthrough I believe he shows it there.

Those first two trades are classic OOTP AI fleecings, might end up a more enjoyable series with the trade difficulty turned up a bit.

Julio Rodriguez isn’t and never will be a MVP. GUARANTEED. Most overrated player in the world right now, in any sport. I don’t see it. Not even a little bit. He can’t hit the ball and he’s really not very good in Center field. He will make an athletic play every now and then but the routes he takes to balls and the bad jumps and the arms and legs flailing because he got a bad read, he’s nowhere near what people think when u say his name. He has one good hot streak in his career and now he’s the best ever???? Not happening
I've had OOTP for awhile now but never really played it because I sucked so bad. Your series inspired me to play it again and go from constantly winning around 50 games to winning around 75. Hopefully one day I will win 86 games then get eliminated in the Wilcard Game.
