OMG Harstem, actually, you are talking about hte Preosaurs and they lived from the Late Triassic to the end of the Cretaceous (around 228 to 66 million years ago). They are the earliest vertebrates known to have evolved powered flight!! But I have no idea how oyu would see such a beautiful creature in this pathetic and broken Hive skin... The beak is waaaaaaay too short, like not even close, and alse we are missing one the THE keymarks of that species, the horn on the back of it's head! OMG Harstem, actually, you are talking about hte Kakaru and they live on Shakuras from the Late Triassic (around 228 million years ago) to the year 2500 when the zergs will come. The original slang for sigma I believe came from the old PUA community, where the alpha are the chad guys that just get it easy with women, the beta are the other less attractive guys that get it bad, being friendzoned and are simps in general, because they are just not valued by women. Then, there was the sigma male, and the big difference between not only the alpha, but also the beta, is that the sigma male doesn't play by the normal rules of society, he lives in the margin of it, barely being a part of it, so it does not obey the normal rules of society. While the alpha reaps the rewards of not only conforming to the rules, but being the best in abusing them for their advantage, and the betas are the others, that basically just lose in the system, the sigmas operates outside of this whole frame, they don't care if they win or lose, because they are not even playing the same game. So, for the old PUA guys where the term was quite popular, the sigma would have tricks up his sleeve to circunvent the normal order of society, to get in the pants of very attractive girl, without really having to be the hotest, richest, or whatever est "alpha guy". Nowadays the term has become a meme thanks to many videos, some of them funny, some of them terrible, but I think a lot of the cool "outsider" Batman type of guy of the sigma male was lost in this memefication, for the sake of making ridiculous memes (some of them make sigma males looks like straight up psychopaths with no rationale, where the sigma probably has to be one of the smartest guys to be a sucessful rebel in the sense of circunventing society rules, it's like a stealth cool guy, and the memes make sigmas look like an aggressive beta that got tired of getting beaten and just turned insane or something, kinda sad)
So, in StarCraft, for me, alpha male is like the very high elo guys that play standard almost perfect, betas are the other that play standard, and get mad when cheesed and lose, saying you should play "properly" or "like a man" (except they can't win playing like a man lmao), and the sigmas are the crazy cheesers that "win games they shouldn't", by not playing meta builds and outsmarting their enemies with dirty tactics, which is deff my style, and way more fun to play lol

It may sound strange but we need IODIS for mirror matches.
I don't know how to name it as there is no imba in mirror matches (except for positioning of structures and a bit worse fov for upper player) but we all know that it isn't all about imbalance but also about coaching people struggling against certain strats.
Maybe it could be IODIS complaints about build orders/compositions in mirror matchups
ive submitted one a long time ago on carriers in pvp, i lost 6 base against a 3base carrier turtler where i went mass stalker. it seems impossible to play against unless you always try to base trade.

Have you thought about making a showcase series? Where you try out actually good build orders, there merits, cons, use cases and explain how? It's probably a lot of work, but could be pretty popular. I definitely need it.
As it turns out when you are two entire tech "eras" behind the unit they get that's two "eras" ahead is pretty fucking good

Ghost is imbalanced, but it did now show in this particular game :D The terran would stampede our zerg hero even without the ghosts in the army
Ghost is not IMBA, actually without Ghost, Zerg would tear Terran apart like nothing.

@@mnoukadlo5745 if that means Terran will have easy-micro brute-force lurker-killing hardcounter instead of praying to land snipes (we are not Clem you know). Lurkers are the dumb OP shit here - you just build them and burrow where you want and call that skill. The amount of required dancing around with Terran army not to lose in one second is completely incomparable. What it means is Clem/Maru can use ghosts to beat lurkers. But majority of players can literally give up when lurkers are out.
OMFG low league players never get it. There cannot be any such thing as an IMBA unit if the matchup is not IMBA. TvZ is very well balanced at pro level.

This is superb game knowledge and it’s brought in an entertaining way. he packs in a lot of information while roasting the players; Harstem would be a good teacher.

Haven't watched the game yet but tbh the ghost is REALLY strong.
- Decent speed, small, good microable (not clunky)
- Surprisingly tanky for an infantry unit and ofc healable because of it
- Cloak to boost surviveability even further, making it hard to be sniped and good to surprise attack
- EMP to shut down all casters and shields vs protoss in a very big area (after upgrade)
- Snipe literally annihilating every unit in the game, ground or air, even pops ultras in a split of a second.
Furthermore snipe has an insane range and besides annihilating entire armies can also be used to pick-off key targets
- Can use nukes which can be a royal pain in the ass to deal with lategame as it forces your opponent into a lot of wasted time looking for reddots (or outright lose if you fail to do so). For minimal micro investment of your own
The unit basically has only upsides. For comparison all other lategame caster have major weaknesses in comparison (slow, low hp, no self defense capabilities, only situational..)
