This is literally how I got to diamond for the first time back in the day. A buddy I play with would just smoke me every damn game and then the verbal abuse came in the replay... as harsh as it was, it was accurate and true. I chose to learn from his statements instead of cry imba.

phoenixes can be good vs mass corruptors with anion pulse-crystals and if you are really good at kiting corruptors since you will have bigger range and more speed than them so even if you can't win direct fight you can fly around abusing your range and ability to move while shooting to deplete their number and eventually drain down their quantity.
I think I saw some games Classic doing so. But they are pretty bad vs hydra and brood lords obviously, also they are ONLY good vs corruptors if you have a lot of them AND can kite effectively and not just fly in and try to win direct statcheck fight.
Multi-tasking attacks, run-by's with A-attack command are some things you should also consider implementing into your arsenal.
instead of sending in 4 adepts into 1 base, send 2 into one and 2 into another. Try not to waste time hitting queens and spines - instead shift-target drones. Don't look at your adepts too much as they're harassing - move your camera and macro up in the meantime. I hope this helps. GL

Generic i mean technically becuase zerg units regen means you can play a game without a SINGLE unit dying. granted, good luck with that, buttttt it IS overpowered if youre alphastar.

I had a big brain shower thought and I'd like to share it with all of my fellow high IQ real time strategy game players here. What you do in the morning from the second you wake up is like a build order for life. It follows, then, that there are objectively better and worse life builds. Like for example: starting the coffee maker before toasting my bagel is efficient since the coffee takes longer. And once I've used my APM on that I can start other things. Sometimes on the weekend, I do a "cheese" build of staying in bed for longer, etc. Anyway, since I'm sure all of us here are GM and have huge brains, we all have great life builds. My point is, try to be GM in life, too. Thanks for attending my TED talk.

I like the IMBA-application form at the beginning and the textboxes for the fights. That increases even more the quality of your content. As always your remarks provide many insights. Though, I cannot remember such a devastating conclusion in recent times. For games like this you might want to create a "Please confirm IDS" form.

I don't know if i should comment on editing again but i see you have taken some tips from some comments. From what i have seen in this video i will give you my impressions.
It's much much cleaner. Zooming on harstem is meme fuel. Repeating his words in sentence at 2:16 is exactly what i was talking about when saying you need to add aditional context and not take away from his spotlight. It's epic , just typing out his words into this long sentence made that joke much funier. APM , EPM clarification is perfect. Trade info is really really helpful and useful.
Balance report card is awesome , ending is really awesome with text and report card.
I don't know if you are going to be edditing different series. But every series cold have it's own theme with regards to that you can change your style little bit.
Afterall you don't need to do much to make video more interesting.
There's always a lot of little mistakes, but in IODIS there are often just two or three main issues. This really was a game in two parts, lost in two parts:
1) Killing a lot of drones didn't give any advantage in part 1 because there was no expansion behind it, allowing Z to hit back with the mutas against low eco P.
2) Phoenix weren't good in part 1 because they needed better micro, nor in part 2 against corruptor brood. Their brief victory because Z derped for a couple of minutes and forgot to have any corruptors was just a red herring.
I can't wait for someone to send a vid to Harstem about the new shield battery being OP. Some people are already complaining on that.

Again a classic "How can he have so much money?! I didn't have any?!" While completely forgetting to mention that they invested a solid full base worth of minerals in canons all over the place....Fascinating!

By the stats, most people actually play like Josh or worse. The reason he didn't build workers is that he was microing the adepts. The reason he didn't scout is the same - having other things to do. Multitasking (including building and attacking at the same time) and build orders are just too advanced. So are the unit compositions.
I love building cannons too! I usually build them much earlier, though..... Like way earlier............

Applying the principle of charity, perhaps he actually got matched with a random player who spawned zerg. I always hate it when that happens because that throws my walling plans out of whack. Actually I could use some tips for that scenario! Whats the best way to play against random and adapt your wall after finding out the opposing race.

Oddly I kinda did an experiment so I started keeping track of protoss players usually between d3-d1 somehow about 95% of the time I kill there worker trying to drop there expansion yet it basically never happens to terrans or even randoms who get protoss.
The second adept really wanted to show that he died micheal bay explosion :D

I dont play sc2, i did play sc1 for between 5000 and 10.000 hours and was reasonably good at it. (would have probably been high diamond-low masters if those ranks would have existed)
My foremost memory however is how i sometimes had to pause the game to make my arm stop shaking. My head was thinking about everything i had to do at the same time and my arm would not keep up and at some point start shaking uncontrollably :(
Now im old and even slower, now i surely can't play this game on a decent level anymore.
oh.. after years of playing starcraft 2 I finally got know from where word "imba" came, it is shortcut of word "imbalanced" 🤣
It is funny how some ppl refer to APM like it means something by itself. I can go crazy high APM by random moving units around aimlessly, that does not mean I have an advantage...
I'm a silver, I try to follow build order, i do have a gameplan, i do wall against zerg, i kinda react properly to enemy units, my third base is quite too early, and I don't really scout enough. Do I belong in Diamond league with Zero?

At 6:50 it looks like he's targeting down individual drones with, like, 7 adepts? But drones only take 2 hits to kill so most of that damage is wasted. I guess he's doing it because otherwise they would all target the queen. But, still, maybe that's why he didn't do as much damage as he thought he did.

You know, when i play zerg i treat it as a flexible series of strategies depending on what my enemy is doing, so scouting is a must. why the zerg just didnt make a crap ton of lings, idk. Maybe he wanted to play with mutas, whatever, but when a toss doesnt wall off youre damn well sure im gonna make 10 lings and keep on pumping out lings till hes dead.
*doesn't even have 50 workers yet at the 12-minute mark* "BUT I KILLED 65 WORKERS! IMBA!!!" Maaaaaan, I was taught back in gold league that the number of workers you kill doesn't matter at all if you don't produce any. Should easily be close to maxed at 12 minutes but he doesn't even have 70 total supply... When did low diamond get so slow at production? I knew they increased the target percentage for the league... but < 70 supply at the 12 minute mark??? Yikes... And other than a couple adept runbys, it wasn't even that much of a slugfest to justify the low supply.
