Besides the technical problems i really LOVED Greece's🇬🇷 clip and i feel like ERT showed us the "weaker" part from the perfomance and kept the suprises for next Thursday!

I agree with you on the comment to Armenian's performance. Believe it would be better if the musicians joined Jako at one point on the ground level.

1-the blindfold part on Malta was nuts
2-i firstly didn't like besa but at least we are doing something different this year plus the English version has grown on me
3-Zari is my winner but even if Marina doesn't win whole ESC as the competition is fierce this year at least i know her song will be a banger on clubs and my playlist!

And some people have the cheek of saying Sarah Bonnici 🇲🇹 is dancing "too much". Isn't that like telling an olympic athlete that they're running too fast?
It's Malta, so qualification is always a big question mark ❓ but I guess some people don't like the fact that it's not a certain NQ anymore.
I'm annoyed of reading that. She has a dance break, like lots of songs do. Austria's entry is all dancing and no vocals at all (pre-recorded vocals only).
@@user-acc00 can't people do their craft, and you can stan songs which are more your type?
There's plenty of girly bops (and not just this year) because girly bops have an audience. Dance breaks have an audience. Pop music has an audience (pop=popular being the keyword here).
In the case of Sarah Bonnici, one can't say it's just pre-recorded vocals (there's probably some pre-recorded backing vocals). She has some very tough notes to hit in that song too, after being gyrated in the air. Takes lots of physical stamina.

I think it is not that deep. Back in 2016, that kind of graphics was something high-tech and expensive, now it might be just some standard template to use *just my speculation
People forget it's voice and song contest not dance contest😂
Everything counts, it's the way you present yourself on stage. As William and Cinan said, it is a performance.
@@acidicsalt7214 yeah everything counts, u can dance, but u can't call it a performance when there is no strong voice or singing with the dance they do. For my opinion lately many countries send more dancing performances( parts) instead singing parts .
No worries hun, in the final the dancing nationalities never win but the voice and song so don't mind the high ranking the eurovision fans do before finals( they usually rank basic songs every year).

@@Lelezz.23 It was a short clip that only showed the dance break. Sarah is a good singer as well and can nail the high note very well. She is a singer and a dancer.

Nah maltas choreo is more demanding and harder to execute
@@Az-ha344 omg so with Malta I'm so confused cos what's the point in the blindfold she doesn't have to move when it's on she just gets moved so whether she can see or not means nothing idgi
@@louisbowles7531 so point 1 is: the dancers are also blidnfolded so it is harder to coordinate where sarah is and so does sarah to coordinate the dancers 2) the blindfolds add an element of entertainment and reflect the song as she is flipping and that love is blind
3) after the flip the dancers are still with the blindfolds so they are still dancing and requires skill to actually find their position in synchrony with sarah. Obviously sarah has to remove the blindfold after the flip or else it would be a mess continuing to have it on from mlre than 10 seconds
4) nontheless it ia still harder to execute and more entertaining than austrias choreo

True i was also disappointed by my country Greece BUT the 1st rehearsals were amazing... I ve heard the 2nd ones had an issue with the sound. I don't know if it s true or a cheap excuse but i have a feeling they did it for the bets...
If you really think about it the ONLY song that we have no idea how it d be live, is Greece. Looks like we re keeping it secret
