    Great video ty.
just ordered cutmax 6/4 as it looks like the best in the world -pretty much 1 step polish with super strong p1000 cut and 4 ponts of gloss.
Need it for german black very heavily damage cars.
Hope it wont leave strong hologramms as on your soft hood.
planning to use it with Scholl navy spider pad.
used schol shock to cut which is p1200 cut.
Now waiting for that cutmax 6/4 for even more cut
    Chears

Antidote - Thank you for your kind words! Yes CutMAX is one of our go to heavy cut compounds! Killer performance but it does need finishing down in most cases as you’ve mentioned. If you’ve not already done so please check out the rest of the channel & subscribe! Thanks 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗

Very nice video. If I can add a little with the PXE80 I’ve added a 3” sanding interface pad really helps out with the finish ( I know this video isn’t about finishing ) just a side note how the PXE80 and it’s stock backing plates doesn’t really like microfiber pads as well. But in this demo I’m so glad you used it as it kinda proves my point about the PXE80 and using the stock backing plate with microfiber pads. However I have subscribed excellent video.

I like your top tips (also in previous videos)
    Pad priming; also for polishing/finishing?

Ludo Andries - Thanks. We try to incorporate top tips when relevant 😎. Yes - with polishing/finishing there is no need to prime at all. The oils/carriers in modern polishes naturally prime foam pads almost straight away 👍🏽🚗

Thanks for the informative video. Would the priming principle apply for foam pads as well?

goldenbear31 - Thanks for your kind words! Foam pads don’t require priming! There’s no harm in priming foam pads, especially on the first use just to “get it going” - but it’s not essential. 👍🏽🙏🏽

Generally wouldn’t use microfibre pads on soft paint also the less haze you have the better results you will get from refining stage esoteric car care do high end detailing they say you don’t need to prime microfibre pads they don’t I don’t use microfibre pads I use Wool on a da

hakman239 - Neither would we. This video isn’t intended to be a demo of how to correct soft lacquer but is a demonstration to show that even MF pads don’t cause major defects if not primed which is what the common misconception is. But this demonstration also shows that priming results in a higher cut. Demonstrating this on soft lacquer just highlights the results more evidently. Whether people choose to prime or not would be an individual choice. This video just demonstrates what the outcomes could be when using MF pads and gives individuals an educated choice 👍🏽
