FYI, wool pads run cooler than foam pads.

Dmocification to each their own, but yes, they do run cooler. There is MUCH more air circulating when using wool. Don’t confuse the amount of cut with heat.

Just to add to the conversation...wool pads ...at the point of contact have more friction...causing higher temps. Like B mentiones...the rotary is usually slightly tilted ..so it concentrated to a smaller area than a foam pad...but definitely much higher temps. A temperature sensor does not lie. 😀
