whats the best way to clean the blue and yellow wool pads with out access to compressed ?and how oftern would you swap out pads on a regular sized car ?

ashley stratton a brush, like the RUPES claw pad tool, is an acceptable alternative. Not nearly as effective as compressed air, but the next best option.
As far as swaps, we recommend no fewer than 4 pads for an average size sedan to maintain peak performance.

Can you use them with a pad cleaner and do they like/last to be scrubbed against grit -guard etc. in a pad cleaner?

Best way to clean wool pads? Without compressed air

GR Detailing during use a brush is the next best option, but compressed air is really the best option.

I use the claw pad tool after easy section.
I'll periodically give the pad a wipe with an ONR dampned microfiber towel to pull off residue the brush misses.

PS: Microfiber sucks.
