In the 90's I had the chance to drive A LOT of 850's and V70's, T5's etc... That engine loves its fuel, but it sounds out of this world. Very good engine, it had some real Cojones.
@creditcrew yeah and the wagon actually had some aero advantages over the sedan and some rulings around aero was the reasion they could not use the wagon after a while :) silly but man the pr stunt of driving a wagon on track in the 90's is such a volvo decision.

A modded 850 turbo with the M56 transmission is such a delight. I miss mine.
Still kept my V70R she's in lock up - quaife lsd + M56 nasty nasty combo 🤣 and yes... still kept the M59 like goldust these are lol.
I wish I could see this wagon from the outside too..always been partial to this series of Volvo cars.

Normaly I say it's not good 70/30 but this car is steering very good :) Mayby it's the lenght with a little controle over the car…… :D
