My psychology professor at my community college was one of the swat members there that day, My professor talked about how apollo had some mental issues going on, and had no idea that they were actually cops, he was hallucinating pretty bad and had no actual idea of what was going on. Funny enough it was this guy that was one of the people who inspired my professor to start his career in psychology.

Holy shit, I REMEMBER SEEING THIS ON THE NEWS!!! They didn't mention he was there for 11hrs though, they just made it seem like he jobbed to the fire hose and called it a day. They also mentioned on the news report that he said he was "the reincarnation of an ancient hero." Bro, that line lived rent free in my head for years, and I swear I would never hear about this again until today. 🤣
I was in Seattle area in middle school when it happened. I remember it on the news also, and yeah they made it like it was a quick ordeal

@@mandudeguy558 It is illegal to carry a sword in Washington. Not only that, but this guy clearly would not be allowed to carry one even if he could, because of the assault, and attempted SA charge.
Under Washington state law, this guy would also be guilty of menacing, and a few other charges. Since the carrying of the sword was unlawful, every time he refused an order from police, or took an aggressive stance at them, that would be another charge.
