- I would like you to meet Christina K. Pierce, a 38-year-old mother from Boston, Massachusetts. Her daughter is nine-years old and her son is five-years old. Her daughter had a mental health crisis and allegations of abuse were made against the children’s father.
When something like this is unfolding, there is no rulebook. It is a mother‘s worst nightmare. In these cases, mothers follow the advice of professionals.
Christina followed the recommendation of her pediatrician at Newton Wellesley Family Pediatrics and also, the direction of Detective Chris Ducharme in Lexington, Massachusetts. As a result, she was retaliated against in court for seeking a restraining order. She went to court in pro se (self represented) with 27 pieces of evidence including surveillance footage, photos, medical reports, etc.
Despite all of the above, Judge Elizabeth Teixeira of Suffolk County Probate stripped her of legal and physical custody of her children - she is unable to see her children, she wasn’t even allowed to say goodbye. She was their primary caregiver and now has been reduced to Zoom calls each week.
The destruction that the court system is causing to safe parents and children is just absolutely horrific

This happens everyday. I too am going through the exact same thing through Massachusetts courts while "our" daughter languishes in a CONCORD predators home. I have no idea how to make it stop.

These judges are out of control the way they treat women in family court, this type of stuff is too common. Many women are fleeing abusive relationships only to face further abuse by the system ! I avoid the courts at all cost because of things like this , a bunch of judges that hate their jobs and take it out on people seeking them to do their job!

This sounds like the judge has some type of personal vendetta or bias against you. You need to file an appeal to have the case elevated (decision to be sent) to a higher court. That is your right... Don't feel helpless or defeated... Get angry, put steel in your spine, demand justice, don't take no for an answer, and ask Heavenly Father to guide your steps 🙏🏼 You are a powerful Child of GOD and you have been railroaded by evil... APPEAL!!! 💪🏻
She protects the abusers
This poor mother. Everyday it's a new story. Family court is destroying families and not allowing Mother's to protect their children.

I have to say "our children" too. This is so sick. I'm going through this too as we speak, I'm an educated, professional women too with no history of anything. They just destroy us and we've done NOTHING wrong.

Another thing!!! It is VERY HARD TO GET a protection order ESPECIALLY for children against another parent even though it shouldn't be if there is abuse!!!!! I was held against my will by my abuser who is also my son's father and was DENIED a protection order. Currently in appeal.
I tried to appeal and do the breif alone I got close to finishing and then had it dismissed so I could file in federal court

Shocking. Law enforcement and medical professionals were involved, and the mother followed their direction, yet she lost custody. Unbelievable.
This is beyond belief... it's happening everywhere... i can relate so much to her story, no matter what happens... the mother is blamed and scrutinised. It breaks my heart to see a mum who has done nothing but try to love and protect her children. I am sending you love and light ! You should be proud of what you've done in the face of pure evil.
I feel for you court system doesn’t care about the kids I have gone through the same thing lost all legal right I still have joint legal custody because of state law ex-husband lied and said I accused him of abuse when I did not.

At the end of the day, we are walking dollar signs and the judges and staff and lawyers go home and could care less about lives they’ve ruined. I’m sorry, I’m praying for you, all parents in all these evil and horrific situations. My children and I are going on 7 years. We’re not well. There’s no help. Sad. Praying is all I do. (Sobbing)

Unfortunately, far too many attorneys are indoctrinated by the same alienation belief. Attempting to retain an attorney after you’ve been falsely accused of alienation will cost you about $10,000. They are literally treating us like criminals

That judge should be fired. Sounds like her rulings are her revenging for this poor woman seeking to move her case to a different district and judge. These judges should not have this kind of absolute authority and be able dismiss evidence such as this judge did. Its so obvious the judge is flexing her "I'll show you who has the power muscles" for anyone who dares to nit accept her "almighty" rulings. I pray God will bring the judge down and full justice for this woman and her children will be soon forthcoming" in Jesus name I cry out for justice.

This is a nightmare for ANY parent!! This has to stop!! I’m really tired of being quiet about my situation… I commend her for going on here and telling her story because it is NOT easy!!! Every lawyer that you deal with, tells you to stay off social media or to not say anything regarding what’s going on in your family court case, (probably because they all work together), but I’m sorry, (NOT SORRY), it’s time that we stand up & start saying something & DO SOMETHING!!!! This was hard to watch and I’m very sorry. Now the children are living with their abuser cut off from their safe parent. Almost happened to me and my kid. I swore I’d sue the judge that ordered my son to spend weeks at a time with his other parent because I thought my son wouldn’t return.. only in a casket. This system is so F-CKED!

being silenced and intercepted from getting help, the truth, and sharing my truth with anyone/the world in community i was adopted into and full of enablers of that and my sons very abusive father........as far as i know I am in Windsor, Nova Scotia or New Scotland as some now call it, but was adopted so possibly groomed to believe whatever they wanted me to believe .....estranged from my 2 boys who were affected by the narc abuse and family dysfunction
I’m in Western Mass and this happened to me in probate in January. Police and DCF backed-up my abuser - judge took away my custody right there and then with no date or way to get it back.
Can I ask which county? I’m going through this in Franklin and Hampshire soon

That Judge is not real get a department of human services to look into it your girl should not be hurt. This the law. There is some one somewhere let me look I will get back with you.
Hopefully that judge is removed. It sounds like her little ego was hurt so she decided to hurt this woman’s children to get even.

My family court lawyer was legal aid Crystal Macaulay in my youngest sons custody case .....my very abusive sons fathers paid lawyer who helped him get access was Mark Gardner ......cant remember the first name of the female judge but last name was Wright....also told DFCS about all the abuse who also ignored while whole town knows about the cruel, drunk, abusive man ,,,,,,my sons father also did cash job repairing stone steps, wall that was on the DFCS property and that has years ago been torn down , no trace of DFCS or the stone work even being there
When are we going to stick together and create a feminist activism group to be against this giant problems and laws against women???
I’ve seen these groups come and go over the past 13 years, the level of drama and fighting is too much. Have little hope for this happening.

That judge is corrupt. The judge must be in constant contact with the kids father and completely brainwashed
It's so tragic. Help me understand, though. She didn't lose custody because of reporting and obtaining a restraining order it was due to her withholding the kids from the father even after the restraining order was lifted? I mean I don't disagree with her instincts -I just wonder if it was tipping point from the legal perspective? To somehow demonstrate that she was an overprotective, zealous mom with little regard for a judge's orders? The ego of the legal system is appalling in its own right. Yet let this be a lesson to us all that we have to cooperate with even a broken system. Play by their rules to win the long game. Even when it defies instincts. I truly hope she is able to reverse this 🙏🏻 and as volatile as that court system seems they could likely reinstate her and take custody from the father next.

The true victims of parents fighting each other so they can “win”, as well as court corruption are innocent children. These babies grow up with trauma that lingers for years!
It only takes one person to create a high conflict situation, and that is typically the abuser who is consumed by the need to control, and win. On the other side is usually a protective parent who is desperate to protect their children.
She needs a lawyer. She doesn't seem to understand the legal system. Her strong emotion is of no benefit in a court proceeding. She did forum shop and tried to blame a cop for bad legal advice. Of course the Judge is going to take great offence when a litigant is denied for a Protection Order so then goes to a different jurisdiction & doesn't tell them she's already been denied by a different Judge.
I tell men & women the same thing in these matters. Get a lawyer. If you follow your instincts and emotions it will go very badly. How passionate you feel is of no relevance to the legal system. You need to save that for therapy.
You also have to understand that courts only get involved in your life when something goes wrong and you and the person you chose to procreate with can no longer function as co-parents because you hate each other. It's pretty much guaranteed you won't like something the court does. That's why you need to choose a partner well, wait to have kids etc. and mediate break up disputes so that the two parties make decisions, not the court. But, once someone runs to court, all bets are off.
I don't believe a word she's saying. Judges almost always heavily favor the mother!!! She lost custody because she used false accusations and coached her kids against their Dad which is child abuse in of itself. This comment section is proof of how easy it is for women to manipulate people.

It would be interesting to see the actual court order. I feel bad for the parent, but something is missing here. Why would a judge make this kind of decision? Is this appellate court? Christina said something about making an appeal. She sounds enmeshed with her children, the way she talks about “old soul” and running a 5k at 5 yo. Poor kids. They are the real victims here.
