On 9th February 1933, Oxford Union members voted 275 to 153 in favour of the motion 'This House will under no circumstances fight for its King and Country', a result met with outrage from the political establishment. Sir Winston Churchill described the vote as an 'abject, squalid, shameless, avowel', citing it as a reason for Adolf Hitler's later brinkmanship. Ninety years to the day after this motion was first put to the House, would this house still not fight for its sovereign and kingdom?

If you go back and look at his testimony before the US Senate Committee (it’s on CZcams) from about 20 years ago he did the same thing.

I am a "veteran" myself. My generation of "veterans" have not gone through a "real" war against the odds, like the Ukrainians. We got paid. We get a pension. Most of us were at minimal risk. GG's strength comes from the fact he speaks the truth and doesn't have to play 'word games' and waste time on justifications as politicians often do. George is not an Oxford (or any university) graduate but the width and depth of his knowledge is amazing. I am an Arab and met him once and was astonished by his knowledge about the politics and history of the Middle East that can only be described as 'expert level'
