Best stripes I get is when I strip from east to west or west to east. Sunrise to sunset directions. That really shows the difference with the stripes.

As an owner of a Honda HRN216 (without any additional stripe accessories), I usually make double passes on my yards just to lay down some pretty stripes. I do plan to upgrade to a Toro Timemaster soon.

I am thinking about buying a striping kit for my toro super recycler but can the bar come off easily ? I always use the smart stow vertical storage feature and I don’t think it will work with the bar in the way , thanks again !! Awesome vids !!!!!!!
Hey Pro, this model striper only fits the time master. They make smaller ones for 21” mowers. In that case, the ones for those models should fit your mower without a problem and should get out of the way when you fold it up to store it. The striper for your model should be around $100. Hey Thomas! Same as any other similar style striper. It will usually turn to one side. Not a huge deal tho. I usually don’t back up much with a striper. I typically cut the perimeter first without it and then mow the middle with it.

@Radioactive Check out the checkmate roller too. I like it better as I reverse a lot.
The Cappy I looked into that one too. I liked the fact that it would reverse nicely but you have to bolt it on. If you want to take it off you have to use some tools. These all have their pluses and minuses. They’re both good options. Just comes down to a matter of preference. Thanks for watching.

Have you noticed the best way to cut being side discharge? Any preference on that vs mulching vs bagging?
Side discharge is really the only way to cut mostly with this mower. It clogs up like crazy in mulch mode. I’ve bagged with it a number of times and put the clippings in my composter. It has excellent suction in bag mode. Even with the side discharge on it will still clog and barf clumps into the lawn sometimes. Buyer beware. Thanks for watching!

I pull my TM backwards a lot so I’m not sure about that. Also the quarter grand price. I’m on my second TM and on my second mow it chopped the back flap up already. Ugh 😑
Typical toro charging a lot of accessories. The checkmate striper is most likely better for backing up but the cost isn’t much different. I have done videos on replacing the drag flaps. It’s a common problem on these timemasters. Feel free to check them out on my channel. Thanks for watching!
What edger did you use?
I have an old Trailmate. It was an old commercial one. My neighbor gave it to me and said he couldn’t get it running. I worked on it with no luck, took it somewhere with luck and then decided to put a harbor freight Predator engine on it. I took it all apart. Painted it black. Slapped the engine on it and it works great. Been using it for several years now. I’m going to do a video on it soon. Stay tuned for that! Thanks for watching Kevin!
I’ve seen it do a much better stripe than shown here , much better as a matter of fact, maybe it’s your grass idk

It may. It usually stripes just about any grass type. About how tall is your Bermuda?

Just measure it 2.75 sorry
@@Jsyetto ok typically Bermuda is cut much shorter and will probably stripe better at a lower height.

Don't waste your money on this piece of plastic junk ! Mine fell apart after 2 years. Got the BIG LEAGUE ROLLER and i't MUCH better than the TORO !
