    When I watched other people install this they drilled out the hole to make it bigger why?

    Is the sleeve on the mounting nut on the mower supposed to be in the hole or just the bolt

    • @bigleaguelawns
      @bigleaguelawns  Před 4 lety

      Timmy, only the 5/16" threaded portion of the pivot bolt passes through the 5/16" hole in the mower frame. The shoulder section of the pivot bolt is reserved for the pivot arm to swivel on. Thank you.

    Has anyone just attached it with locking pins for quick removal and replacement?

    • @bigleaguelawns
      @bigleaguelawns  Před 4 lety

      Sure! Individuals have been very creative in terms of creating quick release systems. A simple Cotter Pin and Clevis Pin will certainly hold the mounting arms to the existing holes in the mower frame. Please keep in mind that because the pins are 'loose' [or unlike a bolt and nut firmly attached to the mower frame] that you could potentially 'oblong' the holes in your mower frame. Does it really weigh 30lbs like the add says ?? really, how can it be that heavy? the rods are not that heavy nether are the wheels?

    • @bigleaguelawns
      @bigleaguelawns  Před 5 lety

      Our kit, including hardware does weigh around 30 lbs. The wheels are solid rubber, the axel is solid steel, the brackets are all 1/4" thick steel, and the channel is 14 gauge steel.

      Really!? How much does your head weigh? Have you you ever put it on a scale? I'm guessing around 100 lbs. And not in a good way. Nothing but fat

    Wtf is the 1/8th Allen key for?

    • @bigleaguelawns
      @bigleaguelawns  Před 4 lety

      It's an 'added' key to tighten down the locking collar which attaches to the pivot bolt. It's needed only in the event that the set screw were to come loose. It's not a necessary tool for the installation since we pre-assemble the pivot arms for you. It's placed in the hardware bag in the 'event' a customer were to ever need it. You may view a picture of the set screw here: www.screencast.com/t/0g5mneR86

    @Big League Lawns in this video there is no reference to needing to drill the hole on the mower bigger to fit the hardware. All videos online with consumers installing this product they reference the instructions saying to drill a bigger hole. Is drilling a bigger hole necessary?

    • @garym6843
      @garym6843 Před 2 lety +1

      Not on the timemaster bro. There's a reason he says it's the easiest installation. Watch the video. Pay attention
