Ive loved these striping kits since I got started. These things really set me apart from the competition when I started even though I had a smaller non commercial mowers my lawns looked insane with these kits.

No sir, I used one for a year on my 33 inch cub cadet walk behind and never touched it other than to install it. The only way I see if becoming an issue is if something big was sticking straight up and somehow the mower didn’t get stopped first.
I'm thinking more of it disrupting the stripe pattern while turning. but that's not an issue?
no if you dont want turn around marks(which would happen even without this) just go over the edge of the lawn in two straight stripes. What episode 13 of my vlog at the 8:50 mark I show an example of this and explain why I do it at the end of the vlog.
Im sorry, I’ve gotta be honest with ya man I’m not sure what else “disrupting the stripe pattern” could even mean but from my time with it, the stripes are just very sharp clean and exaggerated. Just do proper turns and since the rollers are all separate they all roll around independently along with the mowers movement.

Just bought a Grandstand & am looking into these after purchasing a grass flap. Do you have to walk behind it after you take it off the lawn or do the rollers come up to where you can ride it back to the trailer..

the nuts with springs on them are called spring nuts. and you have them installed backwards. The spring side goes to the inside of the strut. All the spring is for is to hold the nut in place to allow you to start a bolt. The nut has groves on the ends or sides to lock to the underside of the small rail thats curved.
This device uses standard electrical unistrut hardware, seen in most commercial electrical installations where conduit is used.
If your speaking of where I mount the L bracket to the actual roller then them spring nut come pre installed on the unit this way. I didn’t install them, the company did.
I have installed many shelving units based on these struts. Robert is correct, the spring nuts go into the strut the other way. This is very helpful when adjusting shelf bracket height using these struts for vertical support. In the checkmate application (horizontal), you are not fighting gravity so it probably does not matter as much but you would be able to slide the nut into position easier with the spring inside the strut. Just becasue it was shipped that way does not mean it was correct! Good video.

Danny, you are gonna love this striping system. I have two with quick releases. The service at big league is outstanding as well. It's rugged and well built. I've never had a single issue except everyone is green with envy at the stripes!

Rob Whitney yes the quick release system uses pins and clips that work perfectly. I have to remove mine when work is completed for the day Storage is VERY tight in my garage. One just pulls the pins and slide the rollers off

Can you clarify why you did not buy the one that is far less in price based on the size of rollers that would cover the space between your rear wheels? The rear wheels on a mover are obviously far heavier and flatten/stripe the lawn too. So why wouldn't they recommend measuring the distance between the inside of your back wheels and buy one the size of that distance? I'm guessing that would be 6 inches less and cheaper in price? Your input is greatly appreciated as I'm trying to understand.

Will this fit a Ariens Zenith zero turn mower?
If you go to their website you can choose your mower and size roller you need. I suggest measuring from about 3/4 of one wheel to the other wheel to find roller width you need.

when you put a lock nut on the bolt , you don't need a lock washer, just saying 10-4...

Jason no you don’t raise it when turning, as long as you do your normal 3 point turn then it don’t affect the stripe

I have had mine for a month on my Spartan RT Pro I absolutely hate it!! It has bent twice and doesn’t stripe that good I think! Not being negative just saying I thinking was a very big disappointment from what it was said to be! If it was me I would take a thick piece of rubber and bolt it on the deck and I think that does better! I’m not knocking off on big league or anyone, but for $500 I’ve put in it I could have built you 20 of something better!!
