- Krakow is most known for being a joke nation at the start of Victoria II, but its actually a viable nation. If you play them properly at the beginning, you can become a strong nation within by the mid-game. I love playing these small tags because it feels so much more rewarding to become a GP and grow your empire from nothing.

Sorry for the weird audio in some parts of the video. The noise gain I had set was too high and it caused some bad peaking. Also the lawnmower buzzing sounds are in this video but the music makes it easier to ignore. At the end I accidently cut off the last clip of me saying goodbye which without sounds really weird but I didn't feel like rendering the entire video again for 1 second of audio. The noise gate I set for the last voice clip also wasn't on so there is a weird buzzing sound (my bad).

I would have savescummed like mad. I had a game as montenegro where i replayed the german brothers war so many times, giving subsidies to both sides keeping the war as long as possible so i can deck on austria when they are at the weakest. I got lots of money thanks to russia deccing on china for me
I try not to savescum because it ruins the experience but if the game started breaking during the late game thats my exception or to test decisions or events

polish hussars and hussars in the game are 2 different types of units, polish hussars were shock cav and would be almost usless at the time the gtame starts.

Someone needs to tell this little man that he can just load up a save from the beginning of the war instead of starting from 1836 each time
The reason I reloaded from the beginning each time is because you restart, the events and wars that happen at the beginning of the game will play out slightly or drastically differently. Russia for example might build more brigades on one playthough or lose brigades on another playthrough. For nations like krakow these things can make a difference. Also savescumming makes the game less fun for me so I avoid doing it.
Oh boi having to depend on the AI to fight wars...
And they say that in Vic3 you cannot control your armies, imagine the attrition nightmare it will be the Great Game letting the AI control do everything

After the brutal battle of Misk which saw a total humiliation of British armies, during 1937-1938, a civil war lead by Communists easily defeated (although with much scorched earth on the monarchist side) British guards due to the monarchist's incompetent leadership
The Polish-Lithuanian Empire, infamous as ever would be brought down from their hegemonic position in world politics after the death of Smooved III, with the subsequent wars being one of the most destructive in world history.
At 1939, Germany and Russia began an invasion of Poland. France, seeing a chance to reclaim their former territories joined the war, opening up the western front. The UK, despite their bitterness would be too exhausted to join another war, the tragedy of 1935 still looming over the footsoldiers of the army, lowering their morale.
The Eastern front would see Polish troops taking defensive positions, although new German armour would challenge the defensive advantage of the old wars. Germany, with help from German partisans would retake Kongisburg, with their superior navy destroying whatever the polish cobbled together.
The Russians would not see as much success as the Germans, as they would be stuck in old WWI strategies. Although they had found out how to utilize gas, they were still much behind technologically from Germany and Poland. Poland would end up making quite an expensive offensive, utilizing their planes to push to the Kiev river. They would then maintain defensive positions, seeing a continued offensive into Russia too expensive for what it was worth.
In the Balkans, Austria and Hungary, seeking revenge, would join the war on the German's side. The mountains would prove to be a challenge that their meager armies could not pass however. Romania, being promised Russian territories, would support Poland in this war, with them pushing Hungary until German support arrived.
The Dutch, still angered over their previous wars which resulted in a colossal humiliation would join the war in 1940. French troops would flood into the Netherlands, with Wallonia being encircled. The French would try to counterattack in Westphilia, as the Germans had made various breakthroughs in the south.
At this point, it had became obvious that both sides just needed another great power to join in order to capitulate the other. The UK was still recovering from a civil war, the US was neutral, Spain and Portugal had little reason to join, with them being broken empires anyway, and Japan was on the other side of the world. Italy however, could be convinced to join.
Italy was a wild card though. It was clear that the Italians had ambitions to control the Mediterranian, with them being quite aggressive towards Greece and the Ottomans, seeing them as weak targets. Getting Italy to join either side could spark the Ottomans to join the other.
This is really cool. I never imagined this campaigns future after 1936.

Hey bruh, could u try playing as the Malay States like Selangor, Johore, and form Malaysia or Indonesia?
I tried it a few times. It's pretty fun. You'll basically become Japan 2.0, with fewer pops but with better arnament industry since Indonesia is full of Sulfur, Coal and Oil. And some Rubber too.
Then I basically form SEA co-prosperity sphere by sphering or annexing Indochina and Philippines.

I know video is 7 months old but I just wanna say that Huzars and Hussars are not the same thing. Huzars were recon light late napoleonic era cavalry, while Hussars were heavy armored shock cavalry of XV-XVII century, not same thing.

It's an event that happens after Italy unifies. France gets cores and then Italy gets an event to give france the land. Italy usually accepts and they lose cores on savoy and nice
