Prussia wasn't actually winning too hard, thr war was fairly even.
He simply didn't have enough warscore, the war ended because they were worried if it continued they would be accused of nation ruining

The real true vanilla experience would be playing as Yellow Prussia.

Technically that was the combination of both the Austrian and Hungarian flag, although I think Austria still used the Habsburg flag.
