- In this video, my roommate will be reacting to her very first watch of "Malignant" from 2021. This was one of my favorite movies when I first watched it, and she loved it as well!
ABOUT:
“Malignant” is the latest creation from “Conjuring” universe architect James Wan (“Aquaman,” “Furious 7”). The film marks director Wan’s return to his roots with this new original horror thriller.
In the film, Madison is paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities.

A very crazy horror film with a very crazy twist!
I believe Basket Case was officially cited as one of the inspirations for this film, so you're on the money with that one.
Glad you both enjoyed this one as much as I do. The actress of Maddison isn't the one that plays Gabriel. the actress that is doing all the moves is actually someone James saw on America has talent and saw how she can move her body in unusual ways and decided to higher her. she said that learning all the scenes while walking backwards was hard but the stunt actors helped her out a lot and tought her ways to know the set without having to actually see it also she said the suit she wore for Gabriel was hard to move with cause it was so heavy. Yes i agree Anabelle is an amazing actress but again she isn't the one that plays Gabriwl himself. I really like this movie and I didn't expect the twist at the end. Most people just don't get the story and don't like that it has a campy side to it but to me this movie embraces that aspact and makes it work in it's favor.
Happy "Doctor Who" Day! Maybe we should have Grave Who Reacts!
I'm a big fan of Constantine, especially the movie with Keanu Reeves in it.
This is a movie I regrett not watching in theaters when it came out because the trailers for it didn't convince me but I really enjoyed it mostly because of the homages to the horror movie Basket Case from 1982 in which I feel like this movie borrowed some ideas and plot points from.
Pacemakers are also electric too.
You could've also said you were dressed as, Colombo or Inspector Gadget... Multi-purpose Cosplay!
Malignant was fun and different. It's got a Late 90's Horror vibe. Funny all the Horror fans want something Different then many of them Said that's what they didn't like about it! Too weird for them... 🙄
I enjoy this movie greatly "he's broadcasting his thoughts" is hilarious lol as well as it gets matrixy at the end, the scariest part for me is when the husband abuses her in the beginning, the rest was fine
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😊
House of wax 2005 is about a conjoined twin
You guys should check out Brian de Palma's 1992 movie "Raising Cain" starring John Lithgow. I just really enjoy that movie. I'm not sure if it's technically horror, but it's suspenseful.
Google calls it "Horror/Crime"
Check out Stephen Kings’ The Dark Half for a somewhat similar idea(and for a great horror movie in general. It’s George Romero, need I say more?)
I'll watch it for now but I'm still getting that movie.
They're actually conjoined twins. I just found that out earlier.
House of wax had twins
A great horror movie with conjoined twins is house of wax
If the baby dies, so does he!
Don't forget, some crazy people do terrible thins like that.
I'm re-watching _Insidious_ soon but - other than that movie - James Wan has not directed one good horror film. I doubt _Malignant_ is the one to break the chain.
I'm gonna wait until I find that movie and watch it and it had better have a good ending or I swear it's going to good will.
