This is my review of the Syma S6 Mini, 3ch coaxial infrared nano helicopter. They claim this is the "World's Smallest", but it is bigger than the Silverlit Nano Falcon. However, it is definitely very small, and it flies a bit better than the Nano Falcon.

Love your videos Ryan! The mini was the first copter I bought. I then went to the Syma s111g and found that the controller from that copter will bind to the mini making it a vast improvement over controllers.

Hey Ryan! I was just wondering is there a RC helicopter that has 4 channels about the same size as the one reviewed?
Mr.Ryan, I have a problem with my volitation mini R/C helicopter. When I select channel A and B, it's doesn't start, but when i switch to channel C, it go like crazy. Can you help me with this ?

Honest review Ryan. I went through enough wl toys/mjx, and syma stuff to know it's great stuff when you get a good one. I have my t-rex 500 put together, and I got my nano cpx today to practice on. I have a video up of the nano maiden flight, I suck at flying the nano so far haha. I cracked the canopy, but managed to kind of keep it in the air.
Yeah, Syma has been a very reliable brand, in my experience. :) I'll go check out your Nano CPX vid. That thing is definitely a handful at first, but you'll quickly start getting a feel for it. :)

No, I got it from Banggood. It may have been on the bottom of the shipping container. heh

If the eyelet is cracked, and not the post it connect to, you could just use a magnifier to find the crack in the eyelet and separate the crack slightly and CA that sucker. Had to do that to my mSRx before I got a replacement set.
Yeah, I will have to try that, but it's *so* tiny, I don't really know if there's enough surface for the glue to hold on to.

Thanks! :) I have been flying since 2006, when Air Hogs came out with the Havoc Heli. I saw an infomercial for it, and was absolutely amazed by the idea of flying an RC Heli in my house. I mail-ordered one, and the rest is history. lol :D

I have in the past, but it's out-dated now. I doubt I will ever make a new one, because it took hours to make this one, and I only did it because I was cleaning and reorganizing my collection. :) My RC Collection
Hi Ryan I'm looking at buying my boyfriend micro helicopter which one should I get him ? he's already got the quadcopter one by Hudson. Any advice would be appreciated thank you
michelle byrne Hi Michelle. Well, where to start… there are *so many* options. Do you think he'd prefer something for indoors only? Or maybe something that can go outdoors too? A lot of the smaller helis are infrared, so they don't work outdoors in the sunlight. This one in this video would be a good one to start with. It's fun and easy to fly, and it's cool to fly it around the house. :) If you think he might want something a bit faster, and able to be flown outdoors, check out my review of the Syma F4 Assault. That would be harder to fly than this one, but if he can fly the Hubsan quadcopter, he should be able to fly either of these helis well. :)

Syma uses several different protocols, so it's hard to know exactly which transmitters can be used with other models. :/

Funny, but am I wrong in thinking that the case was designed that way so that you could have a "Full-sized" transmitter feel?

I already got the Silverlit Nano Falcon, but watching this made me order Syma S6, it looks much more faster AND maneuverable than the Nano Falcon, am I correct? I really like how stable and easy Syma copters are. Already got a Syma 107g and a Hubsan X4 too. Do have any tip for a even smaller yet maneuverable quadcopter for indoor flight? We use the Hubsan X4 outside all the time and really love it, even in windy conditions. I would like something smaller indoors.

If you got to pick a favourite RC group (cars, planes, heli, drone,...) wich would you chose? I would go for drones, and than rc cars (love the buggy's that work with fuel)
Definitely quadcopters (I don't like the term "drone") right now. I still love helis and planes, but quads are just so versatile and fun, and can be flown in just about any type of flying space. :)
I agree and urggg planes, owned 2 (one that my dad bought 8 years ago and one we bought in germany 3 years ago) and man, I have flewn around 2 mins all together with the 7 replacement motors... I still wanna learn to fly rc planes as it looks amezing for fpv but, 7 motors and 2 min of flight time, hmm... :p
maybe next year when i'll go to germany again...

I flew mine about 9 times and the back rotor started acting up, and barely works. What could be the cause, and how do I fix it!?
+EricXDCool Check to make sure the prop isn't binding up with the top of the motor. Otherwise, it's likely that the motor is dying.
+Flyin' Ryan RC i got the back rotor working, but now whn i try to fly it starts going out of control and you cant fly it!? what could be wrong now!?
EricXDCool Hard to say, without more details. Sounds like maybe you've crashed it one too many times, and have broken parts. heh

Mine came with that crease in the tail fin too! I think they play with them at Customs or maybe even the factory! Lol have you seen the TX Helicopter? Check my vid of my nano heli collection.. I think you might like the TX transmitter being a pincher and all ;)
Yeah, I saw your video... that transmitter is very unique and interesting. I have considered getting that heli a time or two, but never did. I will still keep it in my Wishlist and think about it. :)

No, they have to swivel so they can stabilize the helicopter. That is why it's a problem when they break

I only have three (syma s109g on the way) the s6, cheerson cx 10 and the blade mcx(my first), and so far I like the S6 the least. Range seems to be VERY short, anything over 10feet control gets spotty(IR no like office lights?). I also found I have developed a loathing for the mushroomhead joystick controllers that the cheerson and S6 come with. Stick controllers are MUCH BETTER!!! I think the mcx spoiled me, 4 channels, nice response and not twitchy like the cx10 or S6.
I'm hoping the s109g I ordered flies better than the S6.
HelmutDoork Generally speaking, the smaller the RC, the harder it is to fly, and it'll possibly have worse flight characteristics. And, yes, control sticks are much better than thumbs pads. :) Oh, and yes, the office lights very well could be interfering with the IR signal. I get IR dropouts when flying near my large TV.

I don't like the Syma after I had the x1 quadcopter from them and I crashed it right on one f the rods. I tried gluing it but when that didn't work I was going to take out the rod but it was stuck in there by the glue so I had to scrap the whole quadcopter and now I don't have one.

Flyin' Ryan RC bought one and it lasted about 8 flights before one of the motors died. Thats 2 Syma's I have owned that shit the bed prematurely.
DaddyDog42 Are you dropping the throttle when you crash? Any time the motors are stopped while power is still being applied, that will damage the brushes in the motors.
Yes I'm dropping the throttle. I'm a experience flyer. I'm staying away from syma because my Walgreens heli has never given me problems.

Tanishq Pradhan It's a hard call for me to make for you. I personally would not pay that kind of money for this heli. I think quads are much more fun and you will get more longterm enjoyment out of a quad. :)

I noticed one of my links were messed up too but I was able to fix it by getting a wrench to hold the link by itself upright and putting a bit of super glue, only enough to somewhat act as a bridge between the break, I let it dry for and hour and it worked just fine when I placed it back on

Flyin' Ryan RC Yeah that appears to be the consensus online about it. I just wish Syma did a little more work on the cosmetics. transparent canope and aluminum landing skid would have been good ideas. I forgot if it was in this video or another one but crashing into a wall can break the landing skid. I don't think I'd crash into a wall though since I Haven't crashed my S107 into a wall in a long while.
