Thank you for this great video! I have one I'm disposing of, but after opening it I was unable to find the "hard drive." I looked at multiple videos and yours is the only one that explained the different parts. This hard drive doesn't look anything like what I've seen before. It has now been removed and the computer is ready for disposal. Thank you for educating and enlightening me! You are my hero!! :-)
Literally the same here with me I’ve been trying to find a video that can show the hard drive until finally I saw this one
Thanku you, using this video as reference I am able to upgrade RAM today.
Very helpful! Thanks!!!
Thank you Sir for your step-by-step guide. May God bless you more.
i have a hp pav convertible 14-dy, i imagine interioir is not much diffrent from this, thankyou for the video, you explained everything really well and this will definately help if i ever need to do maintenace on my laptop
Thank for the great vid! This helped me in replacing my trackpad that was acting up!!
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
Thank you for your informative video. My daughter has this laptop, and I was able to properly open the back part up when I was trying to troubleshoot the issue after she has dropped it a few times.
Glad I could help
Great video. I broke my screen on this PC. Can you tell me where to get a new one? You mentioned the whole top? Thank You
Hello Sir,
Thanks a lot for this meaningful video and hope you'd be able to help me out. I bought the same model three months ago. After two or three weeks of using, it started displaying blue screen, stopping randomly. I tried many possibilities but no avail. Now, the problems are:
1- the fan continuously spins unless I switch the laptop off
2- it can stop without notification
3- Windows defender deep analysis overheats the laptop.
Thanks in advance.
This video is great and very detailed. I was able to successfully take apart some of my laptop. Nevertheless, I was left with some question that I would like to ask.:
Those being:
Is there a place to add a SIM card to use internet or phone capabilities?
If not, is there a possible way to add a SIM port to the inside the computer or mother board?
How can you tell if your computer is bugged?
Can you add something externally to the computer to protect it from hackers or other type of tracking?
Is it possible to add something internally to the computer or mother board to inform you immediately any type of these kind of interferences?
I broke my screen as well. Can do a video where you just take off the lcd screen please.
I've a screen that suddenly went black. External monitor via HDMI doesn't work either. Charger port and battery are working OK. Tried to follow virtual assistance steps from HP website but with no success. Trying to figure out next steps - should i try replacing something? What would you suggest replacing and in what order? Any other suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Thank you for this video! I know probably not based on slots you showed, but does it allow for a second sata hdd for expansion?
No, there is not additional room for sata hdd expansion. Just gotta go with bigger NVME M.2
Hello, I have a laptop with model # same as yours but the power is not turning on, black screen so how to fix it? Thanks.
I have the same issue on mine 😕
Hello, do you have touch pad part number or a link to purchase site?
I have one of these HP Pavilion x360 m Convertible Model 14m-dw0023dx and the screen, keyboard, and mouse don't work. However, I can connect an external HDMI monitor, USB keyboard, and USB mouse and use the machine just fine that way. Do you think it would be necessary to replace the motherboard to get the built-in screen, keyboard, and touchpad to work again?
Replaced the motherboard and still having the exact same issue. Onboard screen, keyboard, and touchpad not working. I can use the machine with external HDMI monitor, external USB keyboard, and external USB mouse.
Hey thank you for the video. I have this model laptop and it was working perfectly. I simply opened the laptop and installed an additional 8GB Ram in DIMM 2. Once I did this, the laptop will not power on. I then removed the additional RAM and I reseated the original RAM. The laptop will no longer power on. I tried many different combinations for hard reset and it will no longer power on. Worth Noting - the LED where the power supply is plugged in - is also not on. I tried powering on via USB C docking station (HP) and it will no longer power on. What do you suggest is wrong? Could the wrong RAM brick the laptop? Could the DC Power supply connector be bad? Again the laptop was wroking perfectly, I simply installed an additional 8G of RAM, which now is removed.
Please help me!!
Thank you in advnace.
Ron
Adding additional ram would not break the laptop.
Try remove the battery. And direct adapter to open the laptop. Hope this gelps
Do you know how much is the maximum ram that it supports?
32gb
What does it mean when the l key doesn’t work. Or the 9 ( ?
Need keyboard replacement
Very good video clip, but where is the CMOS battery?
