Canan Moody for the Boks looks a special young talent. He played 13 the other day, but usually plays on the wing. Mack Hanson for Ireland is a box of tricks as well, I think he'll have a good tournament. There's so many, it's very open this year. I can't wait!

As an Aussie, I’m realistic about our chances. So alternately I’d love to see France lift the cup! History shows they’ve been to three finals for zero result.

Ireland have the team, the set up and the confidence to win it, but realistically I think the draw will be their downfall, not only the group of death start, but the sequence of match ups is not in their favour, if they qualify from their group, then its France or ABs, they clearly have a chance in that quarter, possibly a chance in the semi's, but the injury toll would need to be in our favour to win a final, who knows, fingers crossed for Ireland.

They ended the year losing 3 games. SA ended the year losing 2. SA played 7 games against the Top 6 ranked teams (NZ 3x, Scotland 1x, Ireland 1x, France 1x and England 1x). If I am correct, NZ played 5 games against the Top 6 (SA 3x, France 1x, Ireland 1x). SA's win rate against Top 6 was 71%, while NZ's was 40%.
