Love from AZERBAIJAN and hope someday Armenia and Azerbaijan gonna be calm and friendly neighbors, be pleased with sharing similar culture and music.
Yes we were friendly neighbors but armenian people betray to azerbaijani people..
Loreen is SUCH a queen
so is Noosh!
Gotta love the grandmas, especially the smallest one, she was just so adorable. Loreen definitely killed it though, absolutely a worthy winner. But also glad the grandmas got second. You cannot help but smile the whole time.
Noosh:"Oooh fireworks"
Also Noosh 2 secs later:"Didn't help it"
Norway is so underrated in this year!
Yeah. I don't even like the song but it's like a much better version of Eric Saade.
There were other songs than "Euphroia"? The way everyone's always talking Loreen was the only competitor at 2012. Glad you set them straight. 😉
Russia was 11 points away at televote 🙈
It may be but I never heard any other song or competitor being mentioned from 2012.
La la love was constantly on the radio, I'm pretty sure I heard it at birthday parties too.
Suus is ANOTHER LEVEL. I got chills every time i listen to it🙀🌌
Oh, great that you love "Crno i belo", the FYROM entry, it's one of my favorites from 2012 - Kaliopi is just amazing!
Kaliopi = ultimate QUEEN. crno i belo is my all time number 1. Huge goosebumbs, so amazing
Am I the only one who thinks that when it comes to Eurovision last decade, the even-numbered years (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018) were overall quite better than the odd-numbered ones (2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019)?
2012 was yet another great year in terms of songs with a winner for the ages. Both semifinals were cutthroat for qualifying and I'm still bummed that Switzerland and Bulgaria narrowed missed the final.
2015 was one of the best in my opinion
I remember when watching this and when reaching the end of every performance and we reached the scoring and stuff I remember the Swedish commentators were like:"We need to speed it up, the russian grandmas need to go to sleep" or something like. this
So rude but not surprising. Swedes had never had any respect nor culture nor manners.
@@tetsuo964 isnt that a bit harsh? Dark humor doesnt indicate a lack of respect.
@poopie As a Swede I can deny that. I mean some people are disrespectful but that is like only 5-10% of every Swede I've met.
2012!!! YES. I love this year, Babushki, Loreen, Eleftheria, Kaliopi, Zeljko and a lot others 😍 Thanks again for great reaction 🙈😍
Thats not middle eastern . Its caucasian and the music is similar to armenian and georgian musics because they are neighbours and they lived together for so long.
Here is English translation for Estonia entry:
Listen to what the horizon says
Listen to how far it brings
Listen to what the wind has yet to say
Listen...now
Look, when darkness is on the way
Wait, there is still the light
Listen to how your land is breathing
Listen...now
Listen to what remained in the silence
Listen to these simple moments only
Listen, also the heart has a voice
Listen to the voice of a rainbow
Look, and you will see soon
Listen, it is song of the living
Listen...only
Listen to what remained in the silence
Listen to these simple moments only
Listen, also the heart has a voice
The road has passed into shadows
I am still looking and searching
It is the power of silence - the sound
I am waiting you here, halfway
Listen, my voice is calling
Listen to what remained in the silence
Listen to these simple moments only
Listen, my heart has a voice
Listen to what the horizon says
Listen to how far it brings
Listen to what the wind has yet to say
Listen...now
it's perfect
My favorite eurovision song of all time ♥️
@@alinajune435 He also released Spanish ("Escucha"), English ("Hear me") and Russian ("Слушай") versions of the song.
@@katlinpodra1074 thank you. I've heard russian version, but estonian is more beautiful
Yeah, also Kuula (in another spelling, "Koula") in Greece it's a nickname for many female names and it sounded a bit funny to my ear, but it is a great song.
ESC 2012 was one of the best, and for sure 2nd the best in 10's after ESC 2015
Imagine how proud we felt as swedes in 2012 when in 2009 we were among the last in the final, 2010 we didn't even qualify and then we sent this masterpiece. I remember watching the qualifier with my family and my mum saying "this will win eurovision" without it even passing to the national qualifier finals. That's how obvious it felt for everyone
Same here we where watching the Swedish qualifiers and mom just stepped out of the kitchen and came and stood by the tv and when Loreen was done she just said, “That’s our first winner in many years I promise you” and then she went back...both me and my sister agreed completely. It was just so good!
Euphoria was and is my life. I LOVED it and it’s the reason why I’m such a big esc fan. As soon as I heard it I knew that this had to win and i celebrated the next week after the show.
Greatest esc song of all time, love you Sweden
2012 certainly has some hidden Eurovision tunes, some may have forgotten to time but I will never forget them.
2:09 they are not armenian costumes? National costumes of Azerbaijan :)
What a great year! Absolutely enjoyed your reaction and can't wait to watch the whole thing for myself!
It is just so funny that you call everything that sounds similar to duduk a "duduk". There are 2 more azeri instruments that sounds like duduk but with different musical mechanism - zurna and balaban. Just fyi.
One of the best years of ESC. I have a very unpopular opinion as I had and have Loreen on 8th place. I like others more.
Here are my top 5 of 2012:
1. Serbia "Nije Ljubav stvar" - my all-time favourite
2. Macedonia "Crno i belo"
3. Albania "Suus"
4. Norway "Stay"
5. Italy "L'amore è femina"
2012 Best ESC ever
2012 was a great year in general. Between the 2012 Olympics, Queens Diamond Jubilee , and so much great music all around, there was allot of good vibes that summer.
Such a fun video! Thank you Noosh, you made my day.
When you said that this was your favourite Eurovision year ever I clicked the like and subscrieb button in a heartbeat! You're absolutely right.
9:30 "Cyprus know how to do a dance song".
Yes, they hire some Swedes.
Just like Greece, Italy, Norway, Azerbaijan, Malta, Ireland and Spain 😊
What? AFAIK Italy has been writing and producing their own songs ever since their return. Maybe if they hired swedes they would actually win a contest ;).
Edit: with the exception of 2012 apparently, but lyrics in the italian version and for italian parts were still by Nina Zilli.
the truth is that when Greece is represented by a Swedish-produced song it doesn't perform that well in the competition. Tell that to Ukraine, Russia and Ajerbaijan for hiring greek crew!
@@sorayamontenegro2113 I was talking about 2012, since this video is about 2012, not some other years, which this video isn´t about.
@@angnstuff Greece didn´t do that well in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 etc, and they didn´t have a Swedish produced song then, did they..?
@@Asa...S Are you gonna completely ignore the fact that Sweden does good in the competition no matter what they send cause of the jury favouring them? Sweden continuously gets hella points from the jury and nothing from the tele-vote. They spend too much time perfecting their songs and in the end, sure, they are "well-produced" but they are way too poppy and Americanised that the majority of the eurovision fans don't vote for them.
Great video as always Noosh🙌 What a great year!!
You always have so much fun reacting. Love your videos
suus was intence
and euphoria incredible
No one:
Really no one:
All Eurovision fans when Loreen sings 'why': 😭
Noosh's face in the thumbnail is the most precious thing i've ever seen
I was waiting for this one... this is my favorite year🎉❤️...also i miss a seated audience
I saw your first video few weeks ago, and I thought what a cute girl and love her honesty. Keep doing videos, you have a major fan from Croatia
Thanks for your reaction. Duduk, zurna, klarnet is all Caucasian music instruments because all years we live together in Soviet Union
Also famous and old in Turkey, Caucasian and Anatolian region to be spesific
Spain should have been in the top 3 that year, talk about a power house voice!
Your videos are amazing! Greetings from Greece
Loves from 🇦🇿 💖
Noosh, your reviews are really lovely. They are very entertaining and I am glad to see someone so excited about this wonderful contest.Just word of advice ,you might wanna take it for consideration or not it is up to you. Use your platform to bring peace and understanding between Armenians and Azerbaijanis. You are not from the region ,and trust me this is your advantage. You have this wonderful opportunity to make an impact through fun ,music and this what Eurovision is all about. We can not influence political side of it ,but we can do a bit of change.Let not say this is Armenian or this is Azeri, let’s say something like look guys we have these similarities, and it is so cool ,because may be we can use them to understand each other. This is just my opinion.
2021, there were many of my favourite. Your reactions are good. Thanks a lot. Btw, I call the region the Caucasus.
Such a strong year imo, but I'll never get over Norway qualifying over bulgaria after the tiebreaker in the semifinal
2012 is literally my favorite year because of loreen
I have to ask, do you actually react to the whole voting thing or do you skip a bit?? 😆
Noos i love Azerbaydjan eurovision iz Baku good
I've always been a bit curious and perhaps you Noosh or someone in the comment section could provide me an answer. How well do armenians know russian? Is it only the older generation from soviet union times who speak it or do the younger generation speak it too but not as good or do they straight up just speka it natively? I have russian, ukrainian and belarusian heritage but none of my relatives speak any of the other languages and I have many friends from azerbaijan who ONLY speak russian. How is it is Armenia?
Jaraxxus The swedish Eredar lord hey yes Noah has explained it pretty well but I am Cypriot Armenian meaning I’m Western Armenian therefore I don’t speak Russian and to be honest has no association with anything Russian but I have family friends who grew up in Yerevan ( was a former soviet country) and they speak it and have more Russian style dishes .
This was the first year I noticed the ESC or gave time to, and what a debut year it turned out to be. Still a classic year, along with '17.
How come you didn't comment on the interval show part with the past winners? Wanted to hear what you say
I watched this just for your norway reaction haha love Tooji Stay
OMG I JUST LOVE YOU CAN WE WATCH A YEAR TOGETHER!!!! XD
Never understood why Norway was last. There was definitely worse songs that year
Last places are usually complete crimes...
Sweden stole all the nordics' votes sadly :D
geEEEx Ahaha
Will never understand how Norway came last
I guess you already know by now but the guy from Lithuania is Donny Montell, who also represented the country in 2016 😉
Love your videos!!
Great video 👍 Cyprus entry was CO written and produced by Björn Djupström n Viktor Svensson. Sadly many of the esc entries were written by one or several Swedish songwriters. This made some entries similar.
I really liked Loreen and still think it is a dealbreaker for the esc. I do hove ever wish that Sweden ( my home) would be more brave and experimenting with the songs in melfest.
Maybe next year when Krister Björkman isn’t in charge.
Great video ❤️
Wow Romania 3rd. I didn’t expect that. Elena’s vocals were a little bit underwhelming in the final. We were quite high in the odds, but well...the final performance mattered the most.
Also, Loreen - “Euphoria”...How can you hate this song?? This is way too good! And the performance is just unreal. My favourite ESC entry ever, clearly!
8:41 I'm pretty sure she is not playing, since all the music is a track. She probably plays it in the studio recording tho.
I just watched 2014 again and omg I forgot how good that show was
QUEEN
Finally someone who loves France 2012
yeap... If I stole your work I could then say - Hey, our work is similar! ...no ...Hello from Azerbaijan ;)
Loreen is for sure one of the most iconic ESC acts. I would really like to know your opinion on "Statements" the song she participated in Melodifestivalen 2017. but sadly didn't win.
Mahir Chelsea I’m still mad that Sweden didn’t send her in 2017. Ever since then I’ve found Melofest rather underwhelming.
@@_o..o_1871 I agree. Whem I saw the performance for the first time (and heard the song heh) I already thought about her placement in Kiev. And than there was the Shawn Mendes wannabe who took her place in the final 😐🤕
Babushki for the win ♥️ they just make me so happy everytime.
For me 2012 is up there with 2016 as the best Eurovision years
jedward are on home concerts tomorrow
The Lithuanian entry competed again in 2016 (Donny Montell)- I can't believe how much he changed in those four years though
Songwise i would say 2012 was the best year actually, so many good songs!
Proud to be a Swede 🥰
Noosh i love you, that's all.
Such a STRONG YEAR WOW
That year's Azerbaijan song was waaaay better than the 2011 winner.....
can something explain to me the appeal of suus, i really don't get how it did so well
Rona's sheer vocal gymnastics
Your reaction to Lithuania is the best in the video.
Where are you from?
Norway's a guilty pleasure!
@noosh101 It is a great disrespect to the Azerbaijani people to name its culture, music, dances as "Armenian" or "looks/sounds like Armenian". You could have a search before uploading this video. Because, Azerbaijani culture, music, musical instruments have been stolen by Armenian nationalists and government to form an identity for the culturally poor Armenian people for legitimizing their stay in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan to the world! And in this legitimizing period, many Azerbaijanis (including women, aged people, children) have been killed, tortured, burned lively by the Armenian ultra-nationalists. By naming Azerbaijani heritage as "Armenian" is a great disrespect to the Azerbaijani people who have been the victims of the inhumanly nationalist movement of Armenians and a great disrespect to the Azerbaijani people and a disrespect to the peace.
the guy from norway is the norway's eric saade
Euro neuro was the best song from 2012 hands down.
Is that the grand finals
you missed that lithuania was donny montell and iceland is greta salome, macedonia is kaliopi!!!!
Loreen changed The Eurovision game period
2012 was the only final that I didn't watch in the 10s, just because Netherlands was so bad. I think it was such a great year.
It would be hilarious if you would watch a Eurovision from the 1970s or 1980s. Or react to all UK entries to see if there are some that you like
Omg you had the same response to Russia like I did 🤣
I LOVE LOREEN😍
My goal in life is to be like one of the Babushkas. With that attitude, life has to be good. :)
Slovenia deserved to qualify but overall I like the songs in the final
7:17❤️🇷🇺❤️🇷🇺❤️🇷🇺❤️🇷🇺❤️🇷🇺❤️
Hello fron Russia!!!
Hungary always have high standard whwn it cones to Eurovision" I honestly don't think I've ever liked a song they've sent 😂
Anyway, Loreen 😍😍😍😍 #proudswede
I think you’re the only that I know, besides me who loved Cyprus, Romania and Greece 🤣 you’re me in a female body. Yaaas. Loreen deserved that spot. Played for months on end in every gay bar in London.
U are wrong, Armenian culture is just copy of Ottoman and Persian culture. However Azerbaijani dresses and culture is neither Middle Eastern nor Armenian. Basically it is Caucasian culture with a bit Iranian and Ottoman influence . So there is not any piont to caIt the culture Armenian. U have biased opinion about Azerbaijan. Try to be open-minded
Nothing is a copy of anything ... life has many countries with intertwining cultures , that’s a fact and you can’t change that .
@@noosh101 well then no need to call Azerbaijani culture very "armenian" and it is fact that armenian culture is not unique it is just mix of Ottoman turkish and Persian culture. This is so normal I mean adoption of the cultures because armenians lived under Persian and Ottoman empire. If u do not want to see such comment just do not make any video related Azerbaijan or make a video with unbiased opinion. It is totally disrespectful to call Azerbaijani culture armenian . We are all human no need to make comments that make us triggered. Love and peace.
World vision music you just assumed it was hateful because I’m Armenian and that makes me very upset .anyone watching can tell you that there was ZERO hate in the way I say it . I just hope things change for the better and your nation will just accept that we are not here to hate .
clown barbaric nomad trash like you couldn’t say anything but complete lies that Azerbaijani terrorist dictatorship spreads 🤡
Estonian guy is clearly singing about a Greek/Cypriot girl called Koula duh :p
Lithuania tbh underrated
Germany 🇩🇪 was amazing, the performance touched my heart. The song is very good.
2012 was an amazing year with unforgettable performances and obviously with Euphoria winning...I only have great memories from that year!
R.I.P 1 OF BABUSHKA'S
I think that's second from them.
Armenian lies. 🤦♀️ Did you know that the indigenous people of America are Armenians? 😂😂That costume, music is not one of the Armenians. You have played thousands of songs from Azerbaijan. You even played our simple songs with folk songs. 🤦♀️😡
The comment that i looked for
19:58
Pretty sure its not allowed to play with live instruments.
You are right. Music has to be pre-recorded since the middle nineties. Only vocals MUST be live.
Going first for the 🇬🇧 was a mistake
Kaliopi is QUEEN! best Macedonian entry ever!!!
I liked Iceland
Please do Eurovision 2006
