- 52 Countries participated at the Eurovision Song Contest over the years. Two of them (Yugoslavia and 'Serbia and Montenegro') no longer exist, some others decided not to return to the competition. They are out of sight, but not out of mind. Will any of them ever return?

@Berk Arslan Türkiyeden tabiki. Başkası Rimi Rimi Rey, Süperstar, Live It Up gibi şarkılardan sonra en iyilerden demezdi. Bir kaç tane güzel şarkımız vardı sadece. TRT hep sırf katılmış olmak için bir dolu gereksiz şarkı gönderdi.

Eee normal aralarinda sempati, sevgi, komşuluk olan ülkelerin birbirine cok puan vermesi bizde yaptık. Ama bize kimse demedi neden hep 12 puan azerbaycana diye. Evet bende maNga nin haketiğini düşünuyorum ama arkadaslar sonuçta bu bir sanat ve sanatin guzelligi görecelidir. Baska milletlerin zevklerini nasil bilebilirsiniz. Halbuki 2. Olduk bide yani. Lütfen ortam germe işini birakin artik.

Morocco and Luxemburg are not going to return since like 40 years of aussence Slovakia isn't interested beacouse of none qualifiement in more than 15 years but turkey Bulgaria Andorra and Bosnia-Herzegovina can even return its never to late

Caí En depresion The Turkish governement and broadcaster aren't interested in returning to the contest. The same for Slovakia, Luxembourg and Morocco. Although a new Moroccan broadcaster called 2MTV is interested, but they haven't got EBU membership. Andorra might return in 2021🙂 🇦🇩

I mean, it will took ~42 year to every country can win this stuff. Turkey's 1997' Sebnem Paker-"Dinle" and 2010' maNga-"We could be the same" are awesome performances. They should have been the winner at those years.

I really wish the EBU would put up official full uploadings of all the previous contests on CZcams. They always have very high quality clips in their videos, which makes me think that they have good quality recordings of these contests in storage.

I can't see Lichtenstein doing it... I think at this point they're a lost cause (though I'd love to see them). Kazakhstan is more likely and it would be great to see them, even though the time zone will make it tricky. (how does Tukicvision manage).
Kacper Walkowski It's not that Israel was leaving the contest, it was its broadcaster IBA that did, because it was closed down immediately after this year's contest. If its replacement IPBC gets accredited by the EBU in time, then (give or take a few hurdles) Israel can come back to participate in Lisbon.

I still love and listen very often to "Don't close your eyes", Max Jason Mai (Slovakia, 2012). I voted for that entry and was very sad that it didn't make it to the final. This song was my winner in 2012 and in my own Top Ten ESC Playlist.
