My stock servo somehow survived about a year and a half!! And slowly started to die. Now I can only do left turns really well. Good vid and now the servo hunt begins

cody salzillo haha, yeah, there's enough "Loctite" around my inlaws house to make me wonder if my inlaws have stock in the company, but it's all glues of some sort and no thread lock!

Looked through your videos but couldn't find any info about the lights in the bumpers.. What kit is that? Definitely need those for mine!

It's a GoolRC kit with 4 clear & 4 red. I just cut out 2 of the red. I've got my "Cosmetic" video almost ready to upload, and it has all of the details in it, so subscribe or check back in a few more days!

Tube of loctite on the shelf behind your truck. Lol

That's not threadlock though. It's glue or some sort of lube.

Where did you get the metal servo horn? I have a gen 7 sport coming in soon

I have a savox 0251 servo that my friend sold to me cheap. It worked awesome on his rig. More torque, quicker, and quieter. But when I put it on my Gen 7 it isn't syncing. Am I doing something wrong or are some servos just not compatible? New to the hobby.

Are you running it right off the ESC power or with a BEC? That servo might not like high voltage. It should run fine direct off ESC power assuming the ESC is ok.

Budget RC plugged it directly into where the old one was. Wouldn't think it would have problems.

You sure you plugged it in right? It's not hard to plug them in backwards

Budget RC yessir. Tried it both ways just to make sure.

You got me dude. Try a different known good servo to see if maybe it's the esc that's bad. It's not at all uncommon for their internal BECs to fry.

I have done all these steering mods and I'm using a slightly bent steering rod to give even more throw. My only problem now is that my tires rub the springs. Any idea what I can do to remove this problem? Also I use this for crawling and I feel like a couple things are still wrong with the truck. 1. the springs seem to stiff, maybe it's the shock oil they used? I would love a suggestion for softer springs that will work with this redcat. 2. Is it me or is the front end to long? if you look at the back the tires line up nicely with the wheel wells of the body. On the front they are to far forward. What do you think? I've moved my links to match what the manual shows. However I think the two longest ones on the front could be moved over to the next hole back in the skid plate. This would pull the wheels back about 5mm. Any thoughts? Your help is greatly appreciated. My only concern is if you look at the skid plate there is 1 more hold back in the frame but the plastic behind it on the skid plate is thinner in that area do you think it will hold?
