Until I started watching your videos I thought sexual abuse in children was a rarity. I CANNOT believe how prevalent it is...I am 68 years old with 2 beautiful daughters and was so naive ...I was so lucky that nothing happened to them. God Bless this couple.... and Mark I still say you are a Saint.

The stats for sexual abuse are 1 in 4 women have been sexually abused and 1 in 6 men have been sexually abused. That is a whole lot of people.
We need to change the laws for maximum sentences for child abusers. They cause so much damage.

Sexual abuse is a common occurrence. It happens often in families and it's not reported on if children tell another adult. Because they either don't believe the child, from guilt, or embarrassment. It's awful. A lot of people here interviewed end up getting abused physically too.
As for this couple, I think they have great dreams. Not exactly realistic, but it's great that they have hope. The trauma of sexually abused victims often manifests itself into drug abuse and violence. It's sad. This girl's only protection is her boyfriend. I hope these two can get back on their feet with help from the state (ideally therapy and state programs), but they sadly falk through the cracks.

Yes, and it is delusional of people to think that it is the "cabal" or whatever that is primarily doing this, it is primarily FAMILY MEMBERS or people close to the family that is the mass majority of the cases, it doesn't need to be some rich overlord importing underage girls, simply a family member or baby sitter, etc, etc. People always watch out for strangers but it is family that you need to watch out for.

Diabetics bruise easily. Takes them longer to heal, especially issues with their feet. She talked about her blood sugar bottoming out all the time from them not having food. Can't tell you how many times my dad held my moms mouth open while I poured syrup or something like that in it or put a glucose tablet under tongue to bring her back to consciousness. She went to the hospital A LOT!! My mom just wouldn't eat enough. Some of her medicines made her have no appetite. My mom was also the first women at UTMB Galveston,Tx to have a ❤ transplant. (She was also the 1st woman to have a heart& a kidney transplant (8yrs after the heart) she actually passed away when I was 18, the same age as the girl in this video. My parents were divorced, on paper only so the state would pay for her 1,000's of $ in meds to keep her alive, so at 18 I was my mother's guardian and had to make the decision to turn the machines off. So when she got emotional about her mom I could relate.

Their depression has them in somewhat of a catatonic state it seems. I suffer with major depressive disorder myself, unfortunately, so I know how they feel. Years back I struggled with really bad substance abuse addiction (for nearly half my life) and I subjected myself to so much hell, just to get my next fix each day. I wasn’t living. I was simply existing…barely. I was in and out of jails, rehabs, shelters, detoxes, halfway homes, psych wards, etc. etc .. and my addiction resulted in me becoming homeless numerous times. All together I spent a couple years on the streets as a slave to my addiction. I ended up sleeping on the streets and subways all over NY.. I was homeless in Harlem, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Long Island.. and I chose the absolute worst, most ghetto, crime riddled areas to settle in because that’s where the drugs were. Being homeless is the absolute worst man.. it is sooo fu€k!ng depressing and you feel incredibly hopeless and alone. Spent many nights starving, shivering all night long in the dead of winter. Freezing cold, hungry, contemplating ending my life very often. Around the time I finally got clean my eldest brother took his own life, which had me closer than ever to ending mine. Thankfully I got my life together almost 5 years ago now and have been clean and I have a roof over my head. I still suffer with really severe depression, but the drugs and homelessness magnified my depression A LOT! I emphasize with this couple a whole lot. I’m so glad they don’t have drug addictions to feed on top of being homeless, cuz believe me, it makes things SO MUCH WORSE. I’m quite certain they suffer with some mental health issues though. The poor girl has been through hell and back having to grow up in such a broken home with her sick predator of a father and being abused by the other dude who she considered to be like a brother. It’s so heartbreaking and it blows my mind how much evil exists all around us. But yeah, sorry for the lengthy comment. Their sadness and sense of hopelessness is just so palpable. I hope they find some light in their lives which has been dark for so long.

They CHOSE the life their in right now. They had a house he had a job. He wasnt fired it wasnt that he cldnt find work. Lets not forget while their lying and she says her regret was an ex boyfriend they both have a daughter im raising. Her regret shld have been walking away from her daughter. All these people with brain injuries ( football injury for him, kicked in head for her…) it explains a lot about how so many homeless people are surviving on low execution function ..sometimes it’s childhood trauma that starts the spiral, but many other times it’s brain injury, but always subsequent head injuries and cognitive decline is the result. Truly heartbreaking. Recently read a statistic that over 70% of homeless males have at least one TBI.

You are beautiful humans. Nothing that happened to you as a child was your fault. It just happened. You do not have to harbor that shame. Ever. I hope for peace and for a society that builds you up, not tears you down for all of you in the future. My story isn’t great either but I didn’t let it beat me. With hard work and introspection you can beat this. You just have to believe in yourselves and never give up. Thank you for sharing your story. I hear you. I see you. I love you🤍

Im from Hot Springs Arkansas, I see so much of this. So sad to see more and more people homeless around here. This lady seems to be so sweet.Hard life is what she knows and its horrible. I pray for these kids.Hopefully they can find some stability, and heal from their past.

I'm so glad they have each other. That beautiful young woman carries a burden NO ONE should...These kinds of traumas are so heavy that drug use makes sense...Without proper support or mental health care? It takes a LOT to have any good quality of life without something to take the edge off...I'll never judge a person on the street (or at all) because you never know what their story is. May they find some peace from life's wounds ❤️

Such a very, very sad couple. She said she wanted a shower and a bed. That sounds so simple, But unattainable for this couple. I hope they find some happiness in their lives. And, have safe travels, if that is what they want to continue doing.

It never ceases to amaze me when I check the comments and see that there are actually some 'people' out there who watch this video and say things that are judgmental, discouraging and rude. How can they not actually listen to the f****ing interview and not be profoundly moved, particularly this one? I feel like those are the exact 'people' who have ensured that someone who never had a chance will never get one. Shame on you all. Love to Patricia, Sam, Mark and everyone else who has the courage and desire to share their stories with us. I'm sorry some of us aren't worthy of you. Can't wait for my t-shirt. Love from Ohio
