pretty mental how some of these people live their lives judging people by IQ, which they think defines intelligence. it only measures a couple aspects of intelligence, and also, there are other characteristics that are way more important than being smart, e.g. being a good person, or being subscribed to George Memeulous.
The IQ test was made to test if French Kindergarten children were able to go up to first grade, so yeah they aren’t great at testing Teens or Adults intelligence
If you're legit intelligent you don't need to take an IQ test and you don't have anything to prove to anyone nor would you think sayings your IQ gets girls 😆
@@ruebrownies That's inaccurate. 1905 Binet-Simon Scale, to which you're referring became the *basis* for modern IQ testing but is in no way the same thing, and it's changed throughout history.
fr like my iq could be 150 but i kill puppies and kitties in my free time and i hate george memeulous. my iq is the least of my issues in this scenario.

Honestly, I admire people like George who don't mind admitting when they don't know something and are secure enough in themselves to not feel a need to prove how smart they are all the time. I am not extremely intelligent by any means, but I can struggle with admitting I'm wrong about something. I've gotten a lot better at it over the years, thankfully.

As a person with -1000 IQ, that full stop wasn't in the wrong place, George. 'Now I understand why.' is a sentence.
gonna stretch my "iamverysmart" legs here and correct you, that full stop was in the wrong place. "Now I understand why" is only part of a sentence, separating a single sentence into three is poor punctuation.
@@treepotato9273 It's not poor, it makes perfect grammatical sense. It has a subject; 'I', an object 'his understanding', and even a time reference, 'Now'. While you certainly wouldn't find it in an academic paper, a non-complex statement such as this can be found in countless novels, poems and plays through history. The only adjustment to punctuation I'd make to it is adding a comma after the first word; 'Now, I understand why.'
Just to clarify, the main reason you couldn't remove that full stop is because it interferes with the subject of the sentence. 'Now I understand why we think exactly alike.' isn't what he's saying - it's; 'Now I understand why we got the same test scores, it's because we think exactly alike.'

When they pull out a quote everyone knows or reference Orwell's work as if he isn't one of the most well known authors of the 20th century. They say something pretty basic as if it's some deep, profound insight and a lot of them think social ineptitude is some kind of flex.
Also Orwell wasn't the smartest man himself, at least in terms of some of his views.

The Dr Strange 2 post credit scene was a reference to Sam Raimi's Evil Dead 2. In the movie Ash Williams (who is also the Pizza Poppa in Dr Strange) has his hand possessed and it attacks him.
the dumbest thing about this is, that these people think having a large vocabulary or knowing a lot about a topic has anything to do with intelligence.
There was a Psychology paper called "Consequences of erudite vernacular utilized irrespective of necessity: Problems with using long words needlessly."
It found that when students submitted work to their professors loaded with big words, they thought they were absolutely full of it, covering up for their shit work, and got marked down because the professor thought they were a knob.
People who throw big words into a normal sentence when they don't need to are just showing their arse.
Imagine having such "superior IQ" that you cannot workout, yet you never figured out what music/podcast is.

As someone with autism, I struggled with some subjects when I was in school like maths, science, IT, and stuff like that. However, I really enjoyed subjects like history and English

As a person with an IQ of 186 (above average) I find it hard to not watch Memeulous's content on CZcams because it keeps my brain working and all of his videos have a very deep meaning ( I can understand it because I'm smart) Im smart (I'm smart)

I think it is a American thing because my never had an IQ test the closest thing was probably googling IQ tests during ICT
Up in Canada we have a test, it isn't an IQ test though, it tests all facets of 'intelligence' not just the sample size IQ tests do.
Doesn't have a definitive overall number either. Just says if you're bad/average/good at whatever section you get tested for.
Eg. I got above-average auditory long-term memory, but below-average long-term visual memory.
Meaning, in school, that I remembered what was being taught better by just listening rather than watching.
That sorta stuff. Sure as hell don't remember all my scores in the sections, took it in, like, gr 7/8 or something . Was useful for figuring out how I could learn better tho.

I love how they all claim to be so intelligent but all fail to realise that using longer words doesn't make you smart, honestly it does the opposite.
Using shorter words would be more useful for everyone, it would be easier to understand aswell as faster and less effort than saying supercalifragilisticexpialidocious just to seem like you're better.
