Repairing a DAMAGED Audi R8 Dual-Clutch Transmission for a Dealership

A local Audi dealership sent us an R8 with transmission issues, off of their pre-owned car lot, because they didn't want to warranty it and have to install a new transmission. Being very familiar with the DL800 DCT, we were fully suited to take on this task. After diagnosing and repairing the issue ourselves, we billed the dealer a fraction of what it would've cost them to address the issue at the dealership.

Very cool video! I love learning about these DSG transmissions. Crazy how much the DL800 costs. I'm guessing due to the volumes of units sold. Hopefully the DQ500 isn't as bad since it appears to be in utility vans as well.
