- Today we take delivery of a 1300HP Twin Turbo Audi R8 V10 with an ultra rare gated 6-speed manual transmission. This car has the UGR Underground Racing stage 3 built motor/trans package and was crashed at high speeds. The car was purchased wrecked from salvage auction and now we must determine if this exotic car be rebuilt or if it will only be good for parts. We also see if it will start for the first time after being crashed!

Entire rear cradle unbolts from the midsection of the car, if you can find a rear cradle you can literally bolt on a new one to the main tub.
It doesn’t all unbolt it’s welded at the bottom
This is definitely a car which is worth saving and keep as a track car
I like the lighter blue color combined with yalls typical black trim/scheme👍🏻
If you were utilizing more chrome, the darker blue I think

Lighter blue would be my choice. That dark blue is nice but the lighter one is sick. Also you need to put the emblem back on yours. Yall should rebuild it if there is money to be made. I think if you put on CZcams the views will help pay for it too. Not sure how much you bought it for but if you can sell for close to 250 with the fixed frame then it might be worth it.
I like sleeper cars, so the dark blue, 1300hp, gated manual, is a lovely spec!

BMW has a stauhl blue its like a metallic light blue i think would go great with this car , awesome video man !
The darker blue is better to me. Man I love that gated shifter.

The light blue looks more dope to me but both are nice
Well it is a parts car for sure. The whole mid section bolts on and off but the mounting points maybe bent as the damage is really severe. I would sell the drive train, ecus, immobilizer, keys, and odometer all together so it can be plug and play.

Beautiful car, availability and cost of the parts. Parting it out is an option but not near as much fun.

The one I would take (If they were perfect) would be the Gallardo if its Gated or the mclaren
On all of them, the side vents give them away. Gallardo, 911 turbo looks like a 991, McLaren 650S Spyder, C5 Z06

The lighter blue R8 is beautiful.. take the motor and the transmission and gear stick out .. and look for another R8 V10 ?, maybe you can use some of it .

It looks like a big job but it's not as crazy as you would expect and it's 100% worth fixing considering the rarity of it
I believe the rear of the R8 is a separate piece and can be changed out !

As long as the tub is ok then just unbolt the damaged rear end and bolt a fresh one on.

Since the last comment below seems to think you can get a rear cradle, might be worth pursuing, keeping stripping it and then decide but not looking too likely!

On porches generally you just use a cigarette lighter connection to get enough power so you can pop the front hood just so you all know when you might wanna pass on to a lot more people

It can be fixed anything can be fixed turns how much money you got and how crazy you are I was in the body shop business 45 years I fixed some horrific wrecks

Get a rear cradle. That solves most of your problems.

Hey jr first one is a Lamborghini Gallardo second is a 911 Porsche turbo the 3 is McLaren probably it’s 570 or mp4-12c and the last is a corvette c5 z06
That block looks like DDEs out of the 720. Must be a flaw in 720 blocks. Just get the whole rear cradle as one
God i hate those telegram bot messages, yout tube need to get their act together, and you are correct its a known issue where the mclarens throw the rods through the block
