  • Many costs not considered by many operators and value brought or considered. Are you going to be able to replace your equipment when it’s reached end of service? Sales training, get some! Basic economics read a book!

That’s some great Information you provided us. Thanks so much for sharing. I especially like the part about writing a good contract. It would be awesome if you could share an example on how to best word the contract.

Phenomenal video and perspective on your pricing! Your emphasis on providing value to the customer is excellent to hear as someone looking to get started and potentially afraid to ask for fair or profitable prices. I am hoping to get into the “tractor service” business soon and this video contained excellent advice for someone like myself. Very well done!

Glad to be helpful. It is a lot of fun and when you get paid to do what you love it’s not work. Feel free to reach out to me for more tips. Best of luck!

Price is very dependant on location and economics of area. Cali prices are very different than prices in Texas or Oklahoma

Absolutely correct. Every market has it’s own set of variables. I certainly would have more snow equipment or not depending on competition and demand if I lived where it snowed. Having said this, sales training has taught me that you can succeed in a down economy with a marginal product if you have good or superior sales skills. I have a lot of professional sales training over 30 years and I see opportunities where others only see obstacles. Cheers

Do you think this is profitable enough to rent equipment for starting out? I’m thinking of maybe doing some weekend work but I would have to rent equipment.
