Northern Americans should remove 80% of lawns and replace it with xeriscapes (native plants, grasses, and flowers that are drought tolerant with an alternative ground cover other than lawns).

Lawns were invented by wives to keep their husbands home on the weekends. Good boy.

I never watered my lawn. It doesn’t rain here in summer. Lawn comes right back the second it starts raining.

Lawns. A pox on anyone just for having them. You water it so you can then require power wasted on cutting it. The second it stops growing, you waste water to make it grow just so you can cut it. If life was so nice as to give me a piece of land to stick a house on, it wouldn't have a lawn. Fruit or vegetable plants, shrubs, raspberry bushes, trees, anything but lawn grass.
