- I love headscarves. They are a saviour on dodgy hair days. I highly suggest not using a slippery scarf like the one I use in the video. It makes it terribly hard to style. A raw silk or cotton scarf I think would be ideal
Check out leaf.tv to see where I saw the 3 styles using the folded scarf first.

Well jel of their camera!
Love the use of depth of field in their videos that give a really 'advert' quality feel to everything. Well done them!
I'm going to list each style and where it starts in the video here so, you can skip through if you want to. That's why I gave each style a name in case you wee wondering,
1) Protect & Serve : 0:18
2) Queenie wrap : 1:10
3) Lovely Land Girl : 2:16
4) Boho Beauty 3:05
5) The Gatsby 3:50

7) Casbah chic 5:31
8) Beatnik Betty 6:06
9) 40's Turban 6:29
Hair isn't the most important thing in the world but, sometimes knowing you have a super cool 'do' can make you smile and that can only be a good thing right?
Welcome to Vintagious, here, in my own litttle corner of CZcams I will show you how to create beautiful hairstyles from all eras. Sure, my main focus is on simple vintage hairstyling but I also love easy modern styles.
I don't have a favourite era, it changes all the time. One day it'll be Edwardian hairstyles that I'm all over, the next, pinup girl hair, the next I'll be all about Greek Goddesses and their crazy Barnets! I just love it all!
I do hope that you enjoy my videos and that you can learn something from them, even just a tiny bit - and even if you learn nothing I hope that they make you smile.

I just learned 9 new styles in 10 minutes. Amazing. Every time I used to try headscarves, I ended up looking like Jack Sparrow who did his bandana in the dark. But now it works! And it's so easy!
Natalie, your instructions are always so clear and easy to follow. I also love how you just get down to business without all the rambling that let down many bloggers. Always concise, unfailingly cheerful and natural. Thank you!
I have very little hair left after cancer treatments and these scarf techniques will help me camouflage and feel pretty again! Thank you XX
***** That's wonderful to hear - thank you xx
I love this style too. When you wear it no one knows how it's done. It's great. Hope you're well xx
OMG! That Gastby look! 😮😍
All are very beautiful, elegant and classy.
This demonstration has helped me convince my wife that headscarves are fashionable, I myself did not realise there were so many different ways to wear headscarves, nice work & thanks for sharing :-)
I love that look too. Literally no one I have seen knows how it's done. Everyone is intrigued x
Thank you very much for all your sweet comments. I'm glad you like them. Are you talking about the hairstyle when she is in the library?
I love this video! I come back to it over and over and love how easy it is to follow!
HA! :) The Gatsby is my favourite too. It does definitely take practise and it doesn't go right every time (more like every third time actually) which is a little frustrating but when it does work it REALLY works. A emerald green scarf tied like this would look amazing with your hair! xx
I've been wearing a small scarf in that flower and putting it in my braid. Love love love it!
Love these headscarves tying tutorials! Headscarves can be addicting and inspiring!
Your first style is THE style!! Thank you for your video. Honestly, so many are just so beautiful and I enjoy the look. My grandmother's scarves will have a new life. :)
I love Look No 1. It is the loveliest.
Just found you today and am on a marathon of watching your videos ... am loving your channel, you have fantastic style and your hairstyles are fab!! :)
Wow! You are a magician! Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! 💖
Love wearing scarfs, really rubbish at finding ways to do them so just stick with the same boring style. Cannot wait to try these out! Thank you ❤️
I wear scarves on windy days when hats blow off, or when my hair is dirty or I'm lazy. Always looking for new ways to tie them. You've got some great, useful videos. Thanks for sharing.
How exciting!! Can't wait to see all the fab footage you get x
I'm really peased that the video has given you inspiration. The crepey scarf you talk of will probably work really well for style 5 where you make a rosette, the thinner the scarf the better for that one. The raw silk one will be perfect for the rest of the styles because it wont be so slippery!
Love the rosette one. But the are all awesome. Helps me jazz up my boring business attire. Keep'em coming!
They are all great, but the Boho Beauty is absolutely best for you!!! you're stunning! Thank you for sharing!
Amazing video, will try every style! I'm excited!
Yes, the hairstyle she has in the library. I've made the skirt she wears and have a white shirt and that black tie.....just missing the hair. Thank you for your videos, I've got long hair and always wanted to learn to do vintage hairstyles, your videos are just fabulous, I did a version of your gibson girl style this morning and everyone at work is asking where I learned that one...will try the scarf tomorrow :)
Lenco lindo
Omg, #5....Love it! Totally need some big scarves now, JUST to do that one!
These are great and provide flattering volume --not too smoothed down/ close to the head.
Looooove your videos. So simple to follow and great ideas! Thanks for cute wrap ideas!
Just inherited some headscarves from my husband's grandmother and I want to learn how to wear them. Glad I found this video.
Kristen Housley Glad I could be of help. Have fun experimenting!
Thank you so much. I'm glad they have given you a little inspiration xxx
Absolutely love this video! I'll try these this summer thank you!
I loved the gatsby so so much thank you for showing us this!
Love this thank you so much. I have too much hair and always a bad hair day. You look great.
Beautiful styles. You make them look so easy. Can't wait for holidays now to try a few 😁
Hi from Guadalajara México. Many many thanks for share what you do so well, I will try to make myself this. God bless you always :)
I liked the rose style the best. I've seen it done before. but only was sucessfull doing it once or twice. thanks for sharing.
Yeah, so easy and really great sun protection too x
Thank you! I love all of the styles. :)
This lady is so lovely. She seems like so much fun!
wow! you are great! the gatsby look is fantastic
Great tutorial. I am really trying to wear cool looks with scarfs but I have a big head lol so it makes it a bit more trying indeed. Well I have some really great ideas to work on now. I love your accent!!! Going to England, Scotland etc is for sure on my bucket list lol. Thank you.
What a fun set of scarf tutorials ! Love them !! I love scarves , just as you and now I have sum fun new ideas ;) Thanks ! I really enjoy your channel :)
Delightful, thank you! Could you please post what size scarf you use to create these variations? I have several but none seem quite this large. x
im having a hen party 1940 style on saturday this week. Will be trying out your land girl head scarf styles. thank you
Thank you x. I have quite a lot of luck in Primark actually, they usually have quite a large selection , yeah there are some real crappy ones but some are nice. Also, TK maxx. LOVE it there. I have a benneton one from there that was like £3. Just recently I bought a few from Uniqlo. They are online if your not near a store. They have a whole LOAD of different scarves at the moment by all different designers (the Celia Birtwell ones are brilliant) at the moment they are only £7
Please do the Gatsby (the one with Leonardo Di Caprio)one with the grey scarf and a jewel pin
LOVE the rosette style!
Fab - really enjoyed your video and got some ideas for a 1950s party I am going to.
What country do you live in? I can't see it on your channel x
Amazing! Thanks for sharing💚💚💚💚
Love these! Thank you x
How large a scarf are you using? I thought I had one that would work but once I wrapped it around my head there was not enough length to tie it off.
What size scarf do you recommend using? Ta x
Thanks for this, I have thick curly hair that I'm trying to grow out so this should get me through my in-between phase.
I don't suppose you know any styles for my hair type?
Tried the first style last night to cover my pin curls...worked like a charm! :)
Thank you so much. This was so helpful!
Damn lady, you're a beautiful modern pinup, loooove your tutorials, keep goin' bombshell
Liked for The Gatsby! Been trying to find scarf styles from that time period and it's very difficult!
Gatsby def my fave on you! The queenie made me chuckle :). Great options there x.
Really Good and lovely! Thanks!
Dear Vintagious, you ARE the best! I got plenty of new ideas for knoting my Hermès scarves and just tried out the Boho Beauty knot (worked perfectly). Have you any suggestion how to knot a carré like Grace Kelly in a convertible car? Do you need much hair at the back of the head? I always strangle myself by trying. Thank you!
So instructive thanks!!
Natalie, I love your scarf tricks , hair styles and cheeky way. This fan, will be back .Bye,
Jan
Hi may I know what size I should get for the styles show in this video. Thank you
Love these looks! :D I'm certainly going to be sporting a few of these on my California vacation! :D
Hermoso hermoso, intentaré hacerlos en mi cabeza. Gracias. Saludos
Fantastic film, thank you! (:
What size is the scarves? They look bigger than what I have seen around here. I want to try those styles.
Loving the Gatsby
What is the minimum size scarf would you use for a head scarf please
My scarves are super slippery,do you have any tips to stop them slipping off while I'm tying them please?
Great ideas. Thank you.
These are great ideas. Can you tell me the size scarf?
As someone who is severely inept at accessories and owns one or two scarves maximum, I can now say I have several usable ideas. We'll see how they work with the transparent almost crepey scarf from the 60's or the dyed raw silk one. :)
You look gorgeous in every style--I'm sure they'll look great on my (very!) short hair. Cannot wait to try them.
And the biting-one-end-of-your-scarf-to-hold-it-in-place bit: I do that too, girl. ;D
LOVE!
they all great ideas, but my favourite is '' the gatsby '', suits me the most :) thanks x
Great video!!❤
Hi I liked the gatsby alot but get lost in the steps. Could you do one video where I can see more what you do whith the scarf?
What size scarf are you using, Natalie?
elle est super cette video
Like to see some of these styles using an a stretchy infinity scarf.
I'm going to a masquerade next week as Evelyn from "The Mummy"... have you got any suggestions for hairstyles? I'd love that back twist she wears at the beginning, but don't know how to pull that off.
Thank you again, you're brilliant
Love it xx
I have a green silk scarf from my great grandma... It is perfect for a quick tie around. I love that it came from her, but she must have used it when she coloured her hair, because it has bleach spots! I still use it tho :)
And I just did the rosette one... I love it!!
+Sunny Peterson That's brilliant! I love that style too xx
I love it!! Ans they look amazing, just one question.... What's the size of your headscarf??
I love d turban style! U re awesome
What a great video! Can you PLEASE give more details on making the rosette (#5)? Mine does not come out right for some reason, I wonder what I am doing wrong. Thanks!
Thanks so much. Where does it all go wrong, at the end or before?
You remind me of Liv Tyler on this video (got to love that woman!!!)
Subscribed :)
My mum used to wear this doing housework.
thunk you soooo much! I love 5th !
marvellous thanks a lot
If you like the Gatsby, you can just leave that rosette in, after you take the scarf off. It's not going to move.
Thank you!!!!!
I hope they work for you. Remember, if you would like to share your pictures of the styles on my facebook page that would be awesome x
hello! thankyou for this video! you have a lovely speaking voice. please let us know what the dimensions of your scarf are if you have a chance! cm or inches are fine. thanks!
Love it
Where do you find the lovely head scarves? All I can ever find are bandanas or ridiculously long neck scarves. Loved the video!
I get most of my scarfs from Primark, they seem to have a great range. Have you seen my competition this month, you could win 10 nylon vintage inspired headscarves!
Vintagious I did watch the video and I would love to enter but sadly I don't have a Facebook :( I'll have to check out Primark, thank you!
笑容+笑容....我最喜歡4 .5..謝謝您!分享...
42 people down voted this video? Wth is wrong with people? Just trying to meet their down vote quota for the day apparently. Great video. Can't wait to try them all.
+Kate W Oh, you are kind. I hope you have some luck with them xx
nice
