Everyone forgets because it's Belichick "and he can do no wrong. "
In the 3rd qtr the Patriots were winning 7-3... Brady drove them into field goal range at the 31.... it was 4th and 13 at the opponent 31... so a 49 yard field goal attempt was coming, he decided on favor of going for 4th and 13.... against the best pass defense the NFL has seen in QUITE a while!!!
He opted for 4th and 13!! In field goal range!!!
If he kicks it, and we make it.. which is more likely than missing...
      We go up 7...
Probably win the game... instead they get a late TD to win by 3.....

And I'm a die hard Patriots fan I say we get rid of bill belichick. Because obviously Tom Brady can still win super bowls. Because that's the first thing he did. And the first thing he's got Tom Brady after losing Tom Brady is going right back to a losing record. Is that simple

That having been said, when you can spend nearly every 1st round pick and most of your 2nd's on Defensive talent for 20 years, because your QB can cover up the holes and elevate the players you do give him, to higher levels. That does end up helping your teams overall defensive potential. Pretty sure the only 1st round pick the Patriots spent between 01 and 17 on offense was for Nate Solder the Left Tackle.

So when Tom Brady won 2 super bowls by throwing on 1 TD combined in both games, Bill had nothing to do with that? Or how about when they lost in 07 and scored only 14 points but the defense only gave up 17. Is that Bill's fault? In the first SB run, Brady had 1 TD throughout the ENTIRE PLAYOFFS. And in 2018, he won the Super Bowl throwing 2 TDs and 3 ints throughout the entire playoffs. People give Brady all the credit for coming back 28-3, but don't wanna bring up the fact that Bill's defense is what shutdown the Falcons and didn't give up another point. Bill ain't perfect, but to say he's just another coach is ridiculous. Samuel is just bitter about how things ended in NE and he still hasn't gotten over the fact that Bill didn't think he was worth the money he wanted.

This is the silliest debate that will never end. Great “individual” players don’t need great coaching to be great but they do need great coaching to create a great team to win great games. 20/20 hindsight says Brady is still a 7 time SB winner if he’s drafted to the lions but that’s for sure not a guarantee no more than Bill winning 6 without Tom. Both were great when it mattered and won 6 SBs and almost won 9. Both are great 🤷🏾‍♂️

Acho’s argument is reaching. Even a good coach requires a certain number of good players to be successful. Good players require good coaches and good teammates to be successful. MJ was always great, but he need Phil Jackson and Scotty to complete the job. Phil had MJ and Scotty and then Kobe and Shaq during his runs. Brady was out on the field making it happen but people forget that Belichick drew up all the plans.

Well I mean just even from your opening statement. Even good coaches need great players. Which means your cousin really don't mean nothing unless you have a great player. Which is what Angel is saying. Like it's easy to look good and say you a great head coach cuz you had Tom Brady. It's easy to say that. And what make it so much easier to say he just another head coach cuz what's the first thing he did soon as Tom Brady left. That same team that Tom Brady struggle with with no weapons and no help the 12 and 4. And now that Tom Brady is gone all Tom Brady did was the first thing he did which was when the super bowl. And the first thing Bill belichick did when Tom Brady left was go back to being a losing head coach. Some stuff that's just that simple. He was a trash head coach before he got Tom brady. He got Tom Brady it became an all-time great coach. And then as soon as Tom Brady left back to losing records. I mean one plus one is two

Belichick brought in and coached great defensive teams which assisted in Toms greatness. But understand , Tom would have reached success without Belichick.
