Bill actually has a personality. The dry humor grows on you after a while.
That's one of the best kept secrets in the League... He was cold to the outside world, and other coaches to keep them on their toes... However, he's always been able to connect with players in terms of Football discussions...
Yeah, I like his dry humor more than Popovich. Bill is like, "I don't suffer fools", while Pop seems more like, "I'm smarter than you."
he had to build a callous shell because the media were trying to tear him down for a long time and he knew they couldnt be trusted.. he needed ot keep his team focused, so he made himself the villain to draw attention away from his players
I'm still saying Bill would be a great analyst in broadcasting. Excited to see him on the show next week.

And trying to invent a personality by going on a promo tour, just shows how much of a fool he thinks some people are. Has absolutely nothing to do with the media, you act like he brand new or something and like we have not watched him over the last 20 years. He is a trick that thought he was the reason NE were a dynasty, when in fact it was Brady all along. And most of us knew it, then Brady(GOAT), went on to prove it. Brady is the reason we know about NE, not Bill Bellicheat.

I saw him talking to a punt returner...he broke down spin and trajectory of the ball off a left footed punter vs. right...and he talked about that miniscule minutia for ten minutes
That was incredible. Bill expressed more in this 30-minute show than he did over his 20+ years at the post-game podium in Foxborough. Great job, Bill!
I think Bill is going to do a great job in this capacity. Frankly as a fan of football, I would rather see him doing this. He has the greatest mind in pro football and he knows NFL history better than anyone else alive. Let the world see who this man really is. A living football legend.
Ernie Adams might disagree. The two of them together were unbelievable. My guess is to hear them strategize would be at such a high level it would leave listeners in the dust.

It will be pretty trashy for him to bash the guy he wants to succeed. Iâd like to think heâs got enough class to be decent since he likely helped Mayo with the draft board. If he pulls a Mel Kiper on his own protege itâs just not ok. BB may be a little more unfiltered as the night goes on, but pick 3âŠhe should have the wherewithal to respect Mayo & the Pats. IDC what Kraft says or did BB will keep it professional as Tom has. Thereâs a reason thereâs not negativity coming from either one of them. Itâs the other people around them that let us know more of the truth

The greatest defensive mind in football team had the lead when Brady left the field in both Superbowl loses to the giants and the great Bill Belichick defense gave up winning drives. We donât have to bring up his losing record without Brady. As a patriots fan he was great but Brady has a lot to do with his success

To whoever at ESPN / Disney needs to see this, I like Pat's show, I gladly watch clips often. I would pay $10 a month to listen to Bill talk football for 30 minutes a couple times a week. Truly remarkable.
Easily 10 a month. Honestly him on the Peyton and Eli show might be great. Imagine Bill and Peyton two of the greatest minds in nfl history dissecting the games.
He used to do opponent breakdowns once a week and play breakdowns after every win on the Patriots website. Someone needs to offer him the same format with a football smart cohost and let him cook.

Cam Newton always praising Bill Belichick. Cam said he was just glad to be coached by the GOAT Coach! Cam is the first QB1, to succeed Tom Brady in July, 2020. Cam got re_signed in early March 2021! Kraft admitted Cam didnât have weapons much in 2020. Kraft promised Cam the 170 Millions of rebuild to help. He switched at 11th hour, & gave The Top new weapons to Mac Jones.
Fans around the world were devastated Cam got abruptly cut after being the Starter up until the Very, last cut day.
Iâm so proud of how Cam has kept a good Spirit about. This gruesome experience was felt by fans, worldwide.

Best coach ever I still canât believe the Cowboys did not hire him. They would have improved their defense by like 20%. Maybe more. That is the worst thing the Cowboys ever did was not hiring Bill. You will never find a defensive mind coach like Bill. Today. Even today the patriots still have one of the best defenses in the NFL because of Bill.
