    On jobs like those units with all those dryers, have you ever considered offering dryer lent

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  Před 2 lety +7

      Hey Brad. Yeah I just prefer no soap for the siding wash. Makes rinsing the siding more difficult and the windows like you said. Soap on siding is good if the siding has a lot of bug/webs/organic debris on it. The soap will grab it but 99.9% of the time sh and water is all you need. Reduces the business expense of each job too. Just personal preference!

    • @YoungAmbitionYA

      It is what it is. By code they should be water tight. No different then if the siding was taking a beating during a rain storm. So if it did pop, which I've done in the past, I just apologize and inform them of the issue.

I'm currently working commerical project of 77 massive buildings - all vinyl. That's where the money is for me. I occasionally wash concrete, but in the north east concrete is usually only found around pools - we don't have concrete driveways like the south - all asphalt here.

      My estimates have a fine print info area that all customers must read before accepting. It states that all outside electronics (cameras, lights, door bells, outlets etc) that are bleach or water sensitive must be covered by the owner or property managers. If wash day comes and they aren't covered then I assume its not a big deal and wash on. They have weeks to prep before my wash day. If it's not done why would I waste my time? A lot of guys waste time and money caring about things that the owners don't care about.

Was asked to wash it annually and was referred to 2 other complexes. You know what they say about opinions though.. thanks for the view!

    • @softwashscience
      @softwashscience Před 2 lety

      @@YoungAmbitionYA if its dry and hot I will dash water on the grass. If your dial is on 80 your at the very minimum using a 2% SH if your SH strength is 11% in your bulk tank. Now I’m going to bet you had some new SH at 12.5% and that means it settles at 12.5 but if new is more like 14 or 15%. So dial at 80 your probably putting down a 3%. When the organic lights up like it did and changes that fast on vinyl its too strong. I have no doubt you got asked back and they were happy because over apply under rinse is very efficient so you were probably super cheap and it looks good from a far but far from good. I guess some contractors are the people that are like well it’s good enough and they match well with customers that are the same way so glad it worked out for you.
