Tucker Neary from Electric Cycle Rider does a first ride test and review of the Stealth H-52 Electric Bike at Reveille Peak Ranch in Austin Texas.
The Stealth H52 is an electric bike that utilizes a brushless DC hub motor with an output of 6.2kW of power and a 2.0 kWh lithium ion battery pack. It uses Fastace 200mm downhill mountain bike fork up front and a coil shock with 250mm of travel in the rear and Magura MT5 4 piston brakes.
The Stealth H-52 is similar to a Sur Ron X electric dirt bike in the sense that it utilizes a lot of mountain bike components to create a lightweight electric motocross and mountain bike hybrid.

that thing is quiet man, great review as always
You’re a sick man! I’m going to need an ebike soon I can’t do this with my electric scooters 😂🔥
Hope you get one soon! @Life Behind Bars
In Texas those are considered the Sierra Nevada mountains! LOL
Great video pal!!! Stealth was always over priced no dealerships hear in england anymore they didnt sell well
Thanks as always Dale!
Fuck stealth get it from Alibaba.com for 2500$ some say its knock off but really all these bikes are build in china n stealth just import thier shit put their logo on it etcc then charge u like 10k
@@chevyssboy89 how fast do they go
@@chevyssboy89 you really have no idea what your talking about do you
Do you need a drivers license to ride this beast? Great vid btw
The one problem with it is the price. For around the same price you could buy a zero electric motorcycle. Which goes further and faster. Sure this bike is lighter but with regulations it's an off road bike only
Great ride and vid again bud👌
@Fpvlee Thanks man! Would love to ride your QS205 sometime. Looks like a blast.
I want to see a video comparison with this and the sur ron x.. fot the price difference id expect to be a big difference. But id like to get one forsure
hi, thank you for buying the stealth h--51
You should do the cab Motorworks recon.
@Drew Phillips For sure! 👍
Great vid! Just a couple things. Surron uses a 19" moto wheel and the stealth a 24" mtb wheel... And they measure rim to rim diameter vs edge of tire to edge of tire diameter respectively. They are actually very close in circumference. And... Double crown fork... No such thing as three crowns..
@Nate Powell You're right, I misspoke. I'm accustomed to calling it a Triple Clamp in the motorcycle world. Thanks for keeping me honest!
I had rode the Stealth Electric Bomber for almost 5 years, put 82,000 km on it as my main way of commuting and riding for fun. I rode with this other guy who sold me an MX wheel custom built for the Stealth with Shinko tires. Best addition I ever had, didn’t have to rely on the Duro tires which become very hard to get and would wear out in a 2 weeks based on my style of riding (especially if you regen a lot). The MX combo with a different motor lasted 3.5 years in 4 seasons of Canadian climate including tons of exposure to road salt. I left the standard tire on the front which lasted quite a long time and replaced the shocks with Fox 40 front shocks with Shimano Saints brakes which made a huge difference.
@@BWT599 I have done 2500km on mine and are wondering how much longer it will last. 80,000km ? That is insane. Same motor and how many new batteries ?
I wish I had a trail like that around my house
For the price I’ll keep my Sur Ron’s
how much is it?
@@aquainternal1597 almost 10,000 I just left the website
Do you know or anyone know of any four stroke, four-speed, bikes like the Sur Ron with bicycle pedals? I'm aware the Sharon is electric with bicycle pedals. I'm aware of these electric dirt bikes and bikes are faster but I want something for longevity and durability not to break speed records. The problem with the electric bikes and dirt bikes after a while the battery won't hold a charge and the battery is almost as expensive as a new bike or motorcycle. And you never know they can stop making the battery for them discontinue or if they can go out of business because most of the electric bikes and dirt bikes are relatively new companies and with the economy so bad and unstable businesses are closing down left and right. Motoped one of the only ones I knew about that had four stroke gasoline engines with four speeds for the street or dirt went out of business. And at $2,500 through $3,300 was a deal for a 49cc through 125cc lightweight around 100 lbs and bicycle pedals to be used on the road or medium duty off-road. It was probably comparable to a pit bike. But you have a dual purpose bike and if you ride slow like I do you can get away with riding on the sidewalks with a bigger motor and without all that registration garbage cuz of my state you don't need it.
The 24 inch bald tire
In the rear is a constant problem because there's pretty much only one manufacturer that has this tire available. You can buy them from unicycle.com. the compound is very soft and they get worn out very quickly. The sir run has a 19 in Motocross Tire which is a much better choice for the following reasons: the tire is much more durable, rugged, and has other mfgr options.
I agree with you about the quarter turn throttle. Those are potentially very dangerous. I have one on my hi-power Cycles typhoon and under certain circumstances, if you're not careful, your glove may keep the throttle on while your death gripping the balance of the grip area for the handlebar. Having a hub motor is not the best distribution of mass. It means you have a higher unsprung mass and the handling is not as good. That stealth bike is more similar in some respects to my typhoon. I would much rather have a Sur Ron of the 3.
Where did that seat conversion come from, and where can I get one.?
Looks like fun! Nice trail!
@JosephA W They have some great trails out at Reveille Peak Ranch for sure!
How does it compare to the sur-on
Hey. Appreciate your content. Do u have or plan to do a review on Delfast bikes?
@Strug glin Thank you! I don't have one to test but it's possible! Are you interested in one? @Delfast
@@ElectricCycleRider one video breakdown for sure. I'm trying to see what's the best quality/cost ebike in the market.
Where can i buy one and what’s the top speed for it
Its on sale guys
How mick would it be to ship to the uk
Do you need a permit to ride like with a normal bike?
Thanks for review. Wheel hub for offroad not good at all, because rear wheel weight 5-10 kg and its huge disbalance for bike in corners. In city its good, but offroad with wheel hub in 2020 are hilarious.
Name another electric bike you can buy that would beat it on this track?
@@cyumadbrosummit3534 Well maybe not this track, but the Sur Ron wasn't terribly far behind a KTM 250 on a whooped out offroad loop. So for actual trail riding I'll take much better price that comes with much less unsprung weight.
@@beauhawk1146 If my conviction sound decisive its because I own a Sur-Ron and I own a Bomber, so Im completely aware of the capabilities of both. My Sur-Ron is faster if there is a big change of altitude as it loves to climb. But a relatively flat track, where you can carry speed (like the one in this video) the Bomber wins.
Plenty of bikes witch would beat the bomber on track
I was wondering if you plan to change tires where should I go. Is it possible to have a bike shop to switch out the tires?
That’s what I was thinking hopefully someone’s but a CZcams vid on how to do it
@@RageQuitTv. Right those tire look good how to put them on is the million dollar question.🤔
@@cheeveka3 or noo
Conveniently I worked at a tyre shop, extremely easy, just the same as a normal tyre 😁
if u were to compare this to a dirtbike what dirtbike size matches the power of this bike
@Tristan Hopkins It's hard to say because the power delivery is so different. It's got similar top speeds as a 110 or 150 but it accelerates so much faster.
Wrap some metal twist ties around it it'll last for a while
Y las especificaciones?
How does it compare to the Sur-Ron?
biggestbdifference is unsprung weight .. the sur ron has les weight in rear wheel .and cheaper but way more chain noice . .. this is quiet and expensive but good for smooth riding
Those throttles are extremely dangerous in my opinion. They feel wat too un-natural and clumsy.
Great ride.
Fuck yeh nice review and nice bike still undecided between that and a sur Ron with bike is better to ride in your opinion
Nice... It only has 6X the power legally allowed here (Finland) :D
Does Finland have a limit for off road riding?
@@ElectricCycleRider nope
I think I'm going to get the fat tire
Compared to a QS 205 and Sabvoton 150A ist this bike a joke. 6.2kW is nothing lol.
I have 3,6 kWh with 14kW peak Power and this only 2kWh at 6.2kW.
Not even worth half the price.
Yeah seems a shame they went with such little power on that frame. My build would destroy that off and on road👀
Fpvlee
Mine too. Wheelies with a sensitive throttle is no problem with the 5T QS. This crap controller isnt even a sinus wave i think. It sounds way louder compared to a sabvoton.
😂 My b52 with the same motor does 50mph+ consistently almost everyday and I have a little over 4000 miles on my bike.
Clorox God
And how long does it take to reach that topspeed?? 20 sec maybe
Im on 55mph in about 7-8 sec, but the acceleration to 30mph with the QS 205 wirh 5 Turns is absolutely crazy.
Yeah but you have to factor in the average person doesn’t even know how to build their own e bike. Much less understand or have any interest on how certain components function. If you know create your own more props to you have fun. I’ve known people who bought the earlier models back in 08’ they are still in decent shape just saying. 🤷♂️
For the price I’ll just buy the KTM free ride. 10k is a bit steep compared to their competitors.
or buy zero fx and you re street legal and double the range ...
i never drive on pump rock road like that, you may end up loss
@Dan Phan They had the park shut down for me to do this test. I was the only rider out there. 👍
These are awesome but incredibly overpriced
