WHY WE RIDE eMTB - Tom Cardy & Kara Beal

Tom Cardy and Kara Beal found a shared passion through eMTB.
As Haibike Heroes they also have a common goal: To tap the full potential of ePerformance and inspire people to ride eBikes.
Tom Cardy has a background in Dirt jumping, with slopestyle having been his main focus for many years, but he always had a love for mountain biking too. After discovering eMTB through his friend Sam Pilgrim, he set out to creatively explore the possibilities his Haibikes presented, sharing his experiences through his social media channels.
Kara Beal on the other hand holds a commendable career as a full-time nurse, although she has slowly transitioned into a full-time MTB influencer and content creator with a little help from her partner Tom Cardy. Whilst Kara is relatively new to mountain biking (having only started her eMTB journey in January 2019!) her enthusiasm for the sport shines through and it's this passion and joy for pushing her boundaries that has us hooked.
Their get-up-and-go attitude and eagerness for all things eMTB resonate strongly with us at Haibike and our core beliefs: that biking is all about freedom, courage, passion and the joy of discovery.
We want to inspire people to become better riders, to explore and expand their boundaries, uphill and downhill. Watching the way an eBike helps grow someone’s riding skill set is a reminder of the power of eBikes to positively transform your life.

Nice work cards its insane how good you are, is there any chance of organising a day in the future where you could teach and show eeb ridders some skills in the flesh? I would pay to do it im sure other eeb ridders would its hard to sometimes get confidence when you ride eeb with none eeb friends. So good to see how well kara has done its amazing. When you aren't looking for where your battery has fallen out on the trail, you will be getting ignored by raleigh customer services.Waiting for replacents locks , motors etc. I have had mine since October and it has spent 2 months at the bike shop so far. My friends call it my Shitebike ! . Run a mile as you won't be able to cycle it!
